[He didn't answer, still a little iffy about the whole thing. Suzaku knew how he felt about her, but knew even more how wrong it just would be now to live a pretend fairy tale life. However, to deny Euphemia anything was an even bigger sin in his books, and giving in for a nightly walk couldn't be refused any longer. For her, she had said... To do it for her. For her, he would.
And so that was why he'd come down the Latimir stairs and stepped outside into the cold air, bundled in many long sleeves and an old scarf. It would do for now. Hopefully Euphemia was dressed warmer, which his eyes quickly scanned for analysis.
And frowned.]
Are you cold? Hang on, let me run back in and get you a scarf.

[ Euphemia didn't really have much to change into and was still in her dress, but was able to find a rather nice looking knitted poncho to keep her shoulders and arms warm. That along with a pair of gloves kept her from freezing in the harsh climate.
It would have to suffice until she was able to find something that fitted her comfortably, but in the meantime she didn't seem to mind too much. ]
Suzaku, I'm fine! There's no need for that, I've been out there all day yesterday and managed quite well! [ She replied in a reassuring voice, then stepped to the door and made her way out, expecting him to follow. ] But for now, let's just enjoy the snow at night!

[He was a little skeptical, not wanting her to catch a cold, or anything else in this weird place from Exposure. Suzaku followed her out, but not without undoing his own scarf, and bringing it over her shoulders to adjust around her neck.]
Here. I wouldn't be too happy with myself if you caught a cold.

[ The gesture brings a soft touch of pink to her cheeks. It could have been from the reaction to the cold air once they left, but she was willing to have him assume that was the case. ]
What about you? This weather isn't really isn't for for anyone to be left uncovered.
[ She chose an path where the snow felt easier to tread through without boots. She pauses briefly to look at the windows of Latimir sadly, then turns and continues down the stretch of snow. ]
Suzaku, you really shouldn't hide yourself from the rest of us. Being here has allowed me to enjoy my time with everyone before I ... eventually have to go.

[Suzaku shook his head, indicating without words that he was all right. He merely smiled, pocketing his hands in the thin green hoody he wore over 428373245625977 other long sleeve sweaters. He was fine with following next to her, eyes moving up to the clearing night sky.
However, with those words of him "hiding" himself, guilt came back to choke him. Especially with such thick icing on the cake with the following sentence. Suzaku looked away instantly, knowing he should of been expecting this. It always came up, always was mentioned, and always will be wouldn't it.
So he would have to suck it up, nod, and swallow the rest for himself. Why keep repeating things he wasn't so sure of himself anymore?]

[ At the mention of her name, she glances at him. Was it done to ask her something or merely because he was reflecting over what was said? It was always confusing when it came to him, but she would respond with nothing more than a smile. Even if he never offered, she timidly took his arm into her hands, scooting closer beside him as they walked. ]
I think you should lighten up a little! After all ... [ ... and this is where she releases his arm after just taking it, kneeling down to scoop up a bit of snow and clump it into a ball. Obviously, he'd notice, but that was the point. ] ... all work and no play!
