[ With a nod, Euphemia promptly shuts off her device and stands to her feet. She carefully folds her drawing and sets it aside on one of the tables while organizing the room for the company that was about to join her. ]

[Soon enough, Layton had the drinks he was bringing over safely tucked away in a bag over his shoulder, along with the accessories required for their preparation, and was knocking softly on the familiar door down the hall.]

[ After cleaning up her crayons and anything else that was out of place, Euphemia quickly scrambled over to the door and opened the door. She smiles at him and steps to the side to allow him in. ]

Please, excuse the mess. We have a new roommate, so things have been rather hectic.

Not at all. Who would that be, if I may ask? Your new roommate.

[Looking to her for permission, he set down the bag on a free spot and began to set things out.]

[ After shutting the door, Euphy follows behind him and takes a seat on the only sofa in the main room. ]

His name is Sorata, one of the tenants who unfortunately lost their apartment on the top floor. He's very kind and quite an amazing cook ... at least second in comparison to my brother, Lelouch.

[He held out the bottle of red wine to her, in a suggestion that she should take a look at it; it was contained in a normal water bottle, unfortunately, but the cap was tight enough that it shouldn't be effected too much.]

It is. It's the least we can do for him since he didn't have anywhere else to go. I'm happy to have him here with us.

[ Euphy gently took the bottle and began to turn it around in her hand, inspecting and reading the label curiously. ]

I don't see why not. My family is rather fond of it along with tea, but it's normally only had during social events.
