Day 1
Well, really I arrived yesterday, but I got in late...so today is day one. Last night I tried to go to sleep early because I had to wake up for work today at 6:30 (also known as 5:30 am Tempe time). I woke up a lot throughout the night, I had a lot of frightening dreams, and I woke up to Lilly crying.
Well, this morning I was tired and disoriented. I hit my pinky toe on my right foot on the bathroom door. It's hard to explain, but long story short, I broke my damn toe. So now it is all swollen and black. I had to work in a day care with only one other adult in the infant to 2 year old room (my mother) and we had 10 kids at one point. Two which were under the age of one. So, I was in pain. It sucked.
...and it was a 10 hour day! I worked 7:15 to 5:15. It was so tiring. I had 3 kids that became extremely attatched to me and they always wanted me. It was cute and sweet, but also a hassle at times.
I got home and laid down for awhile. I did this underneath blankets of course, because did I mention that it is freezing here?
For dinner my mom made sausage and cabbage. Yum. Home cooked meals are awesome. And she also made me a sandwich and packed my lunch. I feel like I'm in high school again. Hopefully that will help my life rather than hurt it. Now I'm going to do some homework and soon I shall sleep.
