Old People Should Not Be Driving

Thats right. I said it. After many a delegation and conference.. with myself.. i have come to the conclusion that the Elderly should not be behind the wheel.
Let me elaborate for you.
At a certain age, from what i can concur, the general acknowledgment of a persons surrounding seems to dim from their everyday perceptance. Thus, poor driving is inevitable.
Let's take into account some of my first hand experience at this matter.

Scenario One
I'm driving down the road. A neighborhood to be exact. Speed limit : 25. A gentleman is driving down the same road in the opposite direction. Fair Enough. I need to make a right turn. He needs to make the same turn but it's to his left. As soon as i see him, i notice the man is barely taller that the steering wheel, and beyond the age of 80.
Now kids, Do you know the rule of driving in this situation? I have the right of way seeing as how the turn is to my right and i don't have to cross traffic.
*sighs*
The elderly man proceeds to turn left infront of me going at about.. 3 mph. not even 5. After completing this grueling turn.. he stops in the middle of the road to, to my best knowledge, decide where to go next.. *shrugs* Either that or he had just peed himself.

Scenario Two
Yet again, I was driving down my neighborhood street. I see a woman driving up the approaching 3 way stop to which both her and i are forced to halt. I made it first, seeing as how she was driving particularly slow.
Now, i thought that rolling through a stop sign was the mischievous nature of teenage drivers. On the contrary. This woman, yet again not younger than 75 hair in curlers and magnified glasses, rolls up the stop sign going at such a slow speed that i can only imagine that she's coming to a complete stop. But alas.. only then just as i put my foot on the gas, she , in the slowest way possible, plows through the stop sign and continues on her merry way thinking of what i can only imagine to be cookies and knitting. (no offense julie.) She then decides to drive in the middle of the street going at about 10-13 mph. I try my best not to ride her tail.. but even without my foot on the gas my car coasts at a faster speed than that.

Scenario Three
Very similar to scenario Two but a different intersection all together.
One way stop. Not on my side.. An elderly lady coming from my right has the stop sign. I'm driving at a decent speed prepared to go right past her when she barrels through the stop sign and almost runs straight into my passenger side. I would have killed her. If not from sheer guilt on her side.. i probably would have gutted her and strewn the insides on the street to warn the other Oldies that i won't take shit from any of them.

Ok. I feel better now..
