Hmm. >-> Summer school begins next Monday. Retaking Geometry B and taking Statistics for the first time. Hmm. <-< Good news is I actually did pass my Honors Math Analysis class. Thought I'd fail sooo...happy? Yes yes happy. About the grades. Not for summer school. And certainly not for my summer English assignment. >-<; Ack.

In the meantime, have some senseless sentences and drabbles.

Natsuki stiffened against the noise, blinking and narrowing her eyes against the whirl and spiral of lights. She sniffed in the dark, huddled in the shadows with her hands stuffed in her pockets, a scowl on her face. Her brow dipped, ears listening to the blast and blare of music. A mass of bodies danced before her, clustered so closely together that they seemed as one. And even then, Shizuru stood out amongst the dancing throng.

So Natsuki went to join her.

Tifa gripped Aerith's hand suddenly, tightly and the Ancient looked up, startled. She didn't know how long she'd been kneeling in that flower field, hands gripping the stems of sunflowers, but not plucking them from the precious earth. Tifa stared at her, eyes dark and brown and gold and red all at the same time, face pale, ghostly white. Aerith reached one hand up to stroke her cheek, stopped inches before the soft, soft skin. Tifa's lips trembled, eyes watered, and she rasped hoarsely.

"What do you want from me?"

Aerith's eyes widened. And the dream wavered, flickered and vanished, and Tifa stood alone in a flower field-less dream.

Rin gripped a strand of Tohru's hair, twirled it around one long finger as the other girl tensed. Tohru looked as if she wanted to jump out of her own skin, lips pulled tight, eyes wide and misty. Rin bit back a snapping remark 'oh don't look so startled' but knew that would have the opposite effect of what she wanted from the girl. Tohru glanced at her, over her shoulder and shy, soft and scared. Rin glared, but cupped her chin and pulled her until their noses bumped, lips pressed.

Tohru gasped, tensed again. Then relaxed. Rin smiled.

Yuna watches, with both some satisfaction and amusement as Rikku splashes in the waves of Besaid, effectively soaking Paine as the swordswoman tries to dodge their exuberant companion. Her lips twitch only mildly, and the action causes her to frown. Her heart squeezes over and over and she irately brushes one hand across her leg, turns her gaze back to the others. It's over, again and again she reminds herself. Lenne and Shuyin are happy. There is no Sin, only Calm. Spira is safe again.

She tells herself she should be happy, because a safe Spira was all she ever wanted. But she can't erase the image of a blond boy, of an old pilgrimage, friends come and gone and she struggles with her own wearisome heart.

"Are you alright?"

Lulu strokes her head, pets her hair and leans over her, protectively. Doting, assuring, calming Lulu. Yuna shivers, blinks back tears, nods and smiles.

Shizuru pulls Natsuki forward by her tie, presses their lips together and Natsuki drops the paper she'd been working on, overwhelmed and astonished, but not at all irritated. She cups Shizuru's chin, pulls her closer and traces a strand of dark amber hair, down a cheek, past a chin and neck, sweeps it down her side and over her hip, leaves it there.

Shizuru pulls back at that, a somewhat chaste look on her face as she smiles wryly. Natsuki blinks in confusion, scratches her head and pulls together a murmured, "What?"

"You looked bored," is all the Otome says before returning to her tea.

Natsuki sputters, chokes, then debates whether to glare or laugh. She decides on smiling and gets back to her paper. In the hopes that maybe Shizuru thinks she'll look bored again.

Ashe is leaning against a wall in the bazaar when Fran finds her, irritated and hot and annoyed. She's tapping one finger against her arm, lips pursed and wearing that scowl that Fran sees so often that for a moment the Viera doesn't realize that this time Ashe is actually angry about something. Fran tips her ears toward the Hume, doesn't let confusion paint her face. She wonders whether or not to ask Ashe what's wrong, but Ashe is so locked up and tight and unwilling that Fran decides not to.

So she takes a different course of action, strides up to her and places one hand on her shoulder. Ashe tenses, as is expected and looks as if she's about to draw her sword, but she merely turns and glares witheringly at Fran. Fran reads her like a book 'you startled me' and holds back a smirk because doing so would only annoy her more so. It's easy to push the Hume's buttons, as long as she knew which buttons to push and bruising her pride and ego fall under that category.

Ashe looks at her impatiently, face lines grim. Fran's lips twitches and she walks past her, confidently testing the waters.

Ashe's voice, tight and hoarse, stops her.

"Stop teasing me!"

Fran smirks then.

Ashe/Fran. Ashe/Fran! Ha! Well ok. Ashe/Fran subtext. A lot of these are subtext, but yeah...
Yeah I know I wrote Ashe/Penelo the last time. Yeah I dunno. x-x I can't really explain my FFXII ships. Um, I like a lot of the characters? Especially Ashe. Yes, Ashe. *nods*

And some ShizNat of course. ._. Both HiME and Otome. Fruits Basket! <3

;-; It's 2:49 and I should've been in bed a couple hours ago and I'm tired but brother is playing Call of Duty 4. >-<; Can't sleep. Damn him.
