alright, time for a real update!
life at the moment: fantastic. damn near perfect
reason:it's just one of those times where every thing's going so amazingly well. the other day i was walking through downtown from my work to the max stop (finally had that doctors appointment ive been avoiding for 3 years), and everything around me was just amazingly beautiful. i love this city. i live and breath portland, i love working right on the water and passing through the city each day. seeing the same guy in his same crazy indy hat, walking the same stroller with his triplets (3 adorable girls, all with the same light reddish hair as their dad). passing by different places, knowing something incredible happened there: thats where izzy and i went on that one day, that's where we got stopped by the pastor guy while dressed like hookers, that's the fountain where my friend and her boyfriend first kissed, thats where i was standing when i received my first text message from that certain guy, on my old cellphone that was a worthless piece of crap, that i bought downtown as well : )
anyway, it's just one of those times in your life where you can look out and enjoy and just fall in love with everything around you, and want that moment never to change, and it's something you can hold on to and look back on for the rest of your life as that near perfect moment.
thats what my entire week has been like
im SO excited for college!!! again, probably told most of you this already, but im off to OSU, not PSU. spur of the moment decision half way through drum corps this summer, but it was the right one. i kinda called my mom in a panic and said 'i need to switch schools. now' and now i LOVE osu! my schedule's insane but should HOPEFULLY be manageable... my plan (at the moment) is to double major in political science and english, and hopefully end up in the journalism field. im going to take a year to study abroad, probably in London. then grad school and get my masters and PhD. osu's advisers are amazing and so helpful, all the classes they offer sound exciting, and god... i cant wait!!!!! going to be rooming w/ lara dombrowski, though we STILL don't know which dorm were in. i just got a call 30 seconds ago from the housing office at psu confirming my cancellation of their dorms... apparently i got the really good dorm that i'd wanted. damn.
so... YEAH! can't remember ever being happier! college to look forward to, and even work is GREAT at the moment! there's actually stuff for me to do, people are amazing as always, and linda, my favorite secretary, even brought back fudge for the office to share. hehe how can life get better than free fudge?
only downer is that things for jamey aren't looking up.... stephanie managed to convince him that she wasn't really cheating on him, and apparently that was a complete lie. so... he's in bad shape and not talking to people. *sigh* god.... blah. last time i drop my first impression of someone. bah.
hehe then theres that guy... *sigh* i've decided that as soon as i get paid this month, i'm calling him up and surprising him with a train ticket down there
>alright, WELL! i need to get back to work. i apologize for how idealistic this entry may seem, especially compared to some of my past ones. however, different times call for changes : ) and i figure thats a good note to end on. expect to see a different sn for my future journal. high schools over, time for college and the real world. and i could not be more excited ^^ ta ta!
