Hit the track running like a nose bleed!
I won the 400m and 200m. First time running those events. Ever. No sprint training. AND. Did not wear running spikes. Mm-hmm! That's right! I earned gold in flat shoes!
I agreed to do the meet last Wednesday, thus no time to train nor get running cleats. We were all surprised by my performance with those conditions. Especially the fact that I was able to burst on the last 110m of the 400m through to the finish and walked off the track without being doubled over or really even out of breath.
Proud of myself. So is my mom. And my friends. Yaaaaaaay!!!
