In the episode of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" that I am watching, this recording artist-thief uses the teachings of Marcus Aurelius to convince poor kids to steal bicycles and kill people.
While I am happy about this exposure of the Classics, and the show's message about the dangers of the misinterpretation of literature, I feel sad that the Classics can be used so dangerously.
