I really am sorry I didn't get into Toronto to see some of you people over break, but I came home and promptly came down with a very nasty cold that led to me spending most of the break asleep and/or coughing. I did manage to go to lunch with liquidize, though, which was lovely.
And now I'm back at school, where I am now technically a part-time student. I took a summer course last year, which allows me to take only three library school classes this semester, which is a relief because there are really only six electives offered this semester, so three of them are full at 40 people and the rest are somewhat smaller. I'm in two of the big ones and one that is only seven people! And the seven person class is Bioinformatics, where we learn about genetic information! We spent all last week discussing the parts of a cell and how cells and DNA reproduce. It was very Grade 9.
Working at the music library continues to be great, so I have decided that this is what I really want to do so now most of my time is spent searching for job postings and writing cover letters. If anyone knows of any librarian jobs, basically anywhere in Canada, let me know! I am willing to go just about anywhere, except the territories, because apparently you can almost never get fresh vegetables up there and I simply cannot live on canned.
