It is spring, though it has been snowing on and off for two days now, which means summer job search time. It's hard here, I find, because everyone wants only bilingual people. I tried to convince the Concordia library to let me have an interview on the basis that I will be taking a French class in May and June, but it didn't fly. Oh well. I think my favourite way of phrasing the language thing so far has come from a CBC posting for Media Librarians in Montreal, in which one must be "fluent in the working language (French)" and have "very good knowledge of the other official language." Welcome to Quebec.
