(no subject)
Last night at work I answered my very first real reference-interview question! A little girl was looking for books with "that man with the kids," and it turned out she wanted Robert Munsch books in French. And I figured it out and I found the books, and then her mom made her put them all back. But still. I answered a reference question!
I just finished my ten-page strategic plan for the Museum for my management class. I was not really looking forward to doing this paper but it turned out to be actually kind of fun. Mostly because I get to talk about the Museum for four pages before getting down to the actual planning of fake goals, several of which have already been achieved. But I'm quite happy with it.
And it snowed all day! Yay snowstorms. Everything's going to be so pretty tomorrow! If, probably, somewhat slippery, especially for the walk up to Thomson House for the SLA 5 a 7, which is, as far as I can tell, some kind of special cocktail party in French. But they've invited a whole bunch of cool library/archives type people for us to meet, and then I have to run off down the hill to my band concert.
This week is just packed!
