Wedding & Weekend
Went to Brittany's wedding this weekend (she's the Convention Chair). It was a very good time - it was especially nice to see so many of my APO friends (both new and old) and not have some sort of agressive agenda to get through. I can't remember the last time that happened.
The wedding was in the afternoon so the reception was over at around 8pm. I invited some folks back to the house and much to my surprise the whole gang came - we had 11 people there - Pete, Regina, Mel and half of the Delta Theta chapter. Everyone left at midnight after some pizza and chips - it was a good time.
On Friday night Cheryl and I sat outside and polished off two and a half bottles of wine and talked for hours - it was a great time. Although I will admit to having a bit of a hangover on Saturday morning - although it wore off before the reception! I miss that - being on the road keeps me away from Cheryl too much.
I'm not travelling at all this week thank goodness. I don't look forward to having to check my bags when I start travelling again. I have trips scheduled for the next 6 weeks: Philly, Montreal, Fresno, Chicago, Philly again, France & Germany. racking up those frequent flyer miles!
