well, it seems that i have approximately 3 days before my big move. am i excited? eh, don't really feel like it right now. i'm mostly just tired. i'll probably get excited ONCE i get there. it's gonna be a long trip, but hopefully everything will go smoothly throughout the duration.
i still haven't started packing yet, just some kitchen stuff, but that's about it. i need to pack my clothes, not all of it, since i don't wear some of my stuff anymore. i haven't even worn some of my clothes but maybe once or twice or not at all. :X i need help, i know.
i don't believe i'm a shopaholic though because i can go a week without shopping or even longer, but i really do love clothes, shoes, etc. fashion is what i love and as superficial and vain as it is, it makes a lot of people happy, including myself. there's nothing wrong in wanting to look good because i really believe that if u look good, then you'll feel good. you just get this confident boost, and it's really refreshing. i'm not saying you should shop beyond your means because there are stores out there that sell good clothes at affordable prices. However, once in a while, it's ok to splurge a little. this is something i've learned about clothes: if u find something that may be a bit more than you usually pay, then u should ask yourself if you think that you will wear it for a while. think in long-terms. that's what i do sometimes, especially with jeans and basic wardrobe essentials. jeans can last you 2-3 years or even longer, and that's considered long-term for clothes.
here's a lil' 411 for all of u: in the tinseltown area on the copeland's side, there's these strip of stores consisting of cafe's, furniture store(eclectic furniture), clothing store(craze), nail salon, massage parlor, etc. i checked out the furniture store, which was pretty cool b/c they have really interesting designs, hence the name eclectic. it's a bit on the pricey side, but it's cool to just check out. also, the clothing store is really trendy and up-to-date, and they have different type of designers, so it's not just one type of design. jacksonville really needed a store like this, trust me! it's a mix of men's and women's clothing, however, they have more women's clothing. this store has only been there for about two months, and it may be a bit on the pricey side for some people, but it's worth checking out. i even bought a pair of jeans. :) ladies, they have nice jeans! they're not snooty at all over there too, which can be a problem in some of the other stores. also, check out badass coffee co., it's like starbucks but with more selections. k, that's all for now. if u want more info. just ask.
