Summary: Dealing with love is a hard thing, but not as hard as falling in love. Eunhyuk and Donghae are just two people who fell in love, and now they have to learn to deal with it. Life as they knew it was theirs. It seemed that they had everything. But with Super Junior M getting in the way of many things, their relationship-their love was dwindling. Problems occurred when Donghae wanted to out their love to the public and to their group. Eunhyuk refused, leading to a terrible fight. And what Donghae does next is unexplainable...even to me...

It was that following Monday when Donghae realized that his nerves wouldn’t be settled unless the entire group and everybody around them knew just how much he loved Eunhyuk. It was just that simple, yet it seemed so difficult. As he sat in a very uncomfortable chair watching the interviewer watch him, he suddenly grew quite nervous. It was a question that had been anticipated since the second he walked into the small confined room, and even though he often thought that it was really nobody else’s business, he had to answer it somehow.

“What type of girl do you like?” said the journalist and Donghae drew a blank. He couldn’t possibly state the truth because there wasn’t one to tell-he doesn’t like girls. So, instead of that he described Eunhyuk in a girlish way. He lengthened his hair and widened his eyes. He wasn’t as uncomfortable anymore as the vision in his mind was now amusing seeing his lover disguised as a girl.

The man giggled softly, “No doubt you have a girlfriend already,” he said as he wrote his previous answer down.

Donghae was quick to say otherwise, “No,” he said rather sharply. The man stopped his writing and looked up. He was quite confused with his tone.

“I mean, I don’t have one at the moment, but I plan on it in the near future,” he said nervously. When he saw the man opposite him smile and nod, the awkward moment passed, and it was then on that he wished he could just only say that he was desperately in love with a man-and his name was Eunhyuk.

By the time the torture was over, Donghae was standing in the blustery chilled weather waiting on his ride. He was dropped off the morning as his car was in the shop and he just didn’t feel like driving; though, now he realized he was in no mood to wait either. He held tightly to his iPod as he listened to his favorite songs-anything to pass time. Suddenly, a car pulled up.

“How did it go?” asked Eunhyuk as he looked only at Donghae. The other boy didn’t answer until he was safe and warm sitting inside the car. “Well?”

“It was idiotic,” the younger boy said grumpily. “The guy never stopped with the relationship questions.” He heard a faint chuckle from his lover that caught his attention. “What?” he asked.

“Nothing-I just think you’re really adorable when you’re so flustered like that,” he had to admit. Donghae just laughs.

“Why do you always say that?” his face turned to a bright red.

As Eunhyuk’s eyes paid more attention to the road, he then answered, “Because that’s what I think,” he smiled sweetly. He suddenly felt a squeeze on his shoulder and a gentle and loving kiss on his cheek.

Donghae’s arm rested over his lover’s lap as he rested his chin on his shoulder, “I can’t stop thinking about that night,” his voice was warm and breathy.

Chills ran through Eunhyuk’s body, “Neither can I,” he tilted his head to where it touched Donghae’s.

“What’s your schedule for today?” Donghae asked softly.

Eunhyuk straightened himself as he turned the wheel, “Well, after I drop you off I have to go to SM because super junior h has a recording session.”

“For how long?”

“As long as recording normally takes which means I’m gonna be there all day. But after that, I think I’m free,”

And that was what Donghae wanted to hear, “Good, because I want to have dinner with you tonight. I want to discuss something with you,”

“Oh, yeah, what’s that?” Eunhyuk was then forced to turn on the windshield wipers.

Donghae shook his head as he sat back in his seat, “I-I’d rather wait for tonight,”

He sent butterflies in Eunhyuk’s stomach as the seriousness in his lover’s voice made him both excited but also nervous. “Okay, I don’t know what could be so important to where you’d have to wait until tonight to tell me,” he hoped his boyfriend would give in, but he didn’t.

“It’s not really important,” Donghae said, though asking permission to tell some of the other members about their relationship was in fact an enormous issue.

As Eunhyuk parked in front of their dorm building, he turned towards his lover and smiled, “I’ll see you later then,”

Donghae didn’t bother to look around to see if anyone had been looking their way and he didn’t hesitate to embrace his boyfriend in a deep kiss. When they parted, Eunhyuk bit his lower lip. “I’ll miss you,” he told him.

Donghae chuckled sweetly, “I’ll miss you too. Um-come to me the second you get off. I don’t have anything to do today so I’ll be in my room.” After one last kiss, Donghae got out. He waved at his lover as he drove away. Walking back inside, he was met by a chunk of Super Junior members. Holding his head low as he really wasn’t in much mood for conversation, he then walked past them with only but soft hellos coming from his mouth. By the time he was safe in his room; his head harshly hit his pillow.

It was almost like a dream when Donghae imagined telling his friends. He saw their reactions, their embraces, and their acceptance. But then Eunhyuk appeared and he wasn’t happy. Instead, he looked sad. Donghae quickly opened his eyes. He was now confused. Was he really dreaming? Or was this a vision? His heart pounded as he had no idea how he was going to tell his boyfriend what his wishes were. Feeling quite worried, he rolled over to his side. Now, his mind drifted onto other things, yet they were all about Eunhyuk. It was almost like he couldn’t get him out of his mind-good and bad thoughts swished about. With an enormous sigh, he relaxed himself. Though, it wasn’t long before his rest was interrupted by a really loud ringtone.

“Hello?” he said with a hoarse voice, but he couldn’t make out who exactly was calling him. “Who is this?” he asked.

“Donghae, can you hear me? Its Sora,” said Eunhyuk’s sister.

“Oh, hey, how are you? I haven’t heard from you in a while,” there was suddenly a smile on his face.

“I know, you’re my brother who loves my real brother, we need to talk,” she sort of giggled.

“I agree,”

“Great! Are you busy right now? I’m in town and I’m quite bored,”

“Um, I’m free. Where do you want to meet?” he asked as he slipped on his shoes while he grabbed for his jacket.

“How about the Starbucks down your street; I’m dying for some caffeine,” she laughed.

“Okay, I’ll be there in like five,” they then hung up.

He rushed yet again out of the vast building and onto the busy street. Having no car, he walked his way and he thanked god that his sister-in-law suggested such a nearby café. With an umbrella shielding him from the misty light rain, he smiled at once the minute he saw Sora sitting in a slender deep green turtleneck sipping on some fresh hot coffee; her hair was much shorter than the last time he saw her, and without hesitation he then approached.

“Donghae,” she smiled as she stood. “How are you?” she then hugged him.

“I’ve been good, and you?” he took his seat.

“You know, I’ve been better. I-uh-broke up with my boyfriend,” she said with a forced smile.

Donghae then reached for her hand, “Sora, when did this happen? Are you okay?”

She shook her head, “Yeah, but I knew this was coming. We weren’t on the same page, and I had to end it.”

Donghae felt concerned and he hoped that this news wouldn’t upset her brother, “Well, does your mom know?”

“Good grief, like hell I’d tell her,” she laughed as she widened her eyes.

“I mean, you guys were together for at least a year,” the boy said.

“Six months, and half of that was really great, I have to admit, but the end part was too much to handle.”

“Well, if anything, I thought you two made a good looking couple,” Donghae smiled sweetly as he remembered back when he met her boyfriend.

Sora nodded her head as she agreed with her friend, “But, enough about me. So tell me how much you’re in love with my brother because I think, above all things, you two make the most handsome couple of all time,” she squeaked.

Seeing that no one really noticed, Donghae felt slightly excited along with her, “Thank you, and I’m glad you’re so cool with it because normally siblings would do anything to protect brother or sister,” he giggled.

“Not this sister,” Sora grinned, “I’m just so happy he found somebody to be with,” the statement was meant to be said under her breath, but Donghae heard anyway.

“What?” he simply asked.

“Huh, before he met you and before he auditioning for SM even happened, it wasn’t easy for Hyukjae.” Her voice was low and secretly soft.

“What do you mean?” Donghae asked worrisomely.

“Its just that he thought he’d never find someone who could love him. I guess it was the issue of him being gay,”

Donghae couldn’t believe Eunhyuk had such a hard time; his heart steadied its beat when he realized he totally understood.

“But all that’s different now. So, anything exciting happened between you guys lately, or have you been too busy for each other?” she said to change the subject.

“Uh, well, recently we were able to go on a date-which lasted all night by the way,” he sort of giggled.

Sora laughed loudly, “I bet that was fun.”

“It really was, and…I hope we’ll be able to do it again,”

“I’m sure you will,” the older girl smiled.

Donghae hesitated, but as a few more seconds passed, he then opened his mouth, “You know, I really hate this secretive relationship we have. For so long, I’ve dreamt about telling the other members, but he won’t let me,”

“Just be patient with Hyukjae. If he opposes it then wait because he’ll eventually come around,”

“I’ve been waiting, and it seems he’ll never agree to it-which is why I’m going to talk it over with him tonight,” he felt confident.

“That’s sweet you want to tell everyone, but are you sure you’re ready?” Sora asked.

“I’ve been ready for the past couple of months,” Donghae replied, “I’m not being selfish am I?”

“Of course not. You have every right to let the world know,” she grinned, “You’re in love with my brother,” she grabbed for Donghae’s hand as she smiled greatly.

“I’m glad you understand, Sora,” he grinned, “You’re like the sister I never had,” his voice was toned with a joking rhythm.

Sora dropped her head and smiled, “Donghae, I am the sister you never had,”

Donghae laughed loudly. He then saw her looked down at her watch.

“Oh, crap. I got to go,” she then stood. “Call me sometime, I love you,” she then hugged him tightly.

“Okay, it was nice to see you again. Let us know the next time you’re in town.” Donghae replied as they let go of one another.

“You know I will, and give my love to Hyukjae,” she said as she rushed out.

Donghae just stood there as he watched her leave. He smiled gently as his soul felt warm. He was thankful that Sora understood and agreed to his plans, but his heart knew that his lover wouldn’t. Reassuring himself that it wouldn’t go as bad as he thought, he then got in line for some coffee. Afterwards, he headed back out into the blustery cold weather and back to the dorms.

Eunhyuk felt his vocal cords strain as he sang Pajama Party along with the rest of Super Junior H. He hoped they were done recording. Before he knew it the song had ended.

“That was great, guys, take a break and we’re gonna pick it up at the second verse.” The man said in the other room.

“I need some water,” Eunhyuk said and some of the other’s agrees. He was followed by only Kangin as they walked into the hallway. He bent down and took deep sips from the water fountain only to nearly drown in the much needed water when Kangin pushed his head further down. “Man, what the hell?” he said mostly under his breath.

“What did you say?” laughed Kangin. “Don’t be such a baby, Eunhyuk,” he said as the younger boy moved out of the way to wipe his face. It was now his turn to drink his fill.

After he coughed, Eunhyuk said, “Why do you do things like that?”

Kangin then straightened up, “Because I can, that’s why. So, you doing anything for tonight? A bunch of us are going to see a movie and you’re more than welcomed to come. I don’t see you as often lately,”

Eunhyuk nodded, “Yeah, I guess.”

“Awesome,” Kangin smiled as he patted his shoulder.

But suddenly, Eunhyuk remembered that Donghae made plans, “Wait, I can’t.” He told him.

“Why not?” Kangin asked.

“I just remembered something, and I can’t make it. But next time, let me know,” he then hurried away before his friend could question him. And as he kept walking, his phone began to ring. Thinking it was Donghae, he then smiled and without looking he answered it.

“I was wondering when you were gonna call,” he said with a smile, but it suddenly left his face.

“Hyukjae?” said a voice on the other line that did not sound like Donghae’s.

“Dad, um-I thought you were somebody else,” he said nervously.

His dad laughed softly, “That’s okay, I was just calling to check on you. Are you busy? Is this a bad time?”

“No, no, it’s fine. How’s mom?” his heart suddenly skipped a beat when he realized he hasn’t talked with his dad since he found out from his mom that he knew about him and Donghae.

“She’s doing good. How is Donghae?” his dad asked; his tone was low.

Eunhyuk didn’t want to answer; in fact, he wanted to hang up, “Um…he’s okay,” he said softly.

“That’s good. Hyukjae, I’ve been meaning to visit you for a while. Are you busy for lunch? Can Donghae accompany you?” he asked sweetly.

“Dad, I don’t know if I can today. Donghae is very busy, and--,” he said as he tried to get out of it.

“Hyukjae, please,” his dad replied.

“Huh, okay. Where do you want us to meet?” he leaned on the wall as he regretted what he just said.

“That place where we always used to meet, is that ok?”

“Yeah, dad, its fine. Mom isn’t going to be with you is she?”

“No, just us men.” His dad sort of laughed. “I just want a chance to talk with you, that’s all,”

“I know…I’ll see you in an hour.”

After they hung up, he then quickly dialed for Donghae. The other boy didn’t answer until the manager was calling Eunhyuk back in for another recording.

“Donghae, can you meet me for lunch today?”

“Yeah, sure. I didn’t think I’d see you until tonight,” Donghae said; Eunhyuk could tell his lover was smiling.

“Um, well, we won’t actually be alone. My dad called me out of the blue wanting to meet us for lunch.”

Donghae was surprised, “Not another talk from one of your parents. Eunhyuk, why didn’t you tell him you were busy?” he complained.

“My dad is not like my mom, and I couldn’t just lie to him like that.”

“Okay, I’ll come.”

“Thanks, and I’ll pick you up after I’m done,”

“Okay, I love you,” Donghae said.

Eunhyuk looked around, and whispering he said, “I love you too, bye,”

As he hung up, he then rushed back into the recording room. “I really hate this song,” he said to himself as his aggravation was affecting more than just the issue of that being his dad.

~

Because they both dreaded it, time seemed to have passed by within a blink of an eye. Eunhyuk was a little late picking his boyfriend up, but seeing as though neither of them wanted to go, it didn’t matter. As they were on the road, Donghae lightly held Eunhyuk’s hand while the other one gripped the steering wheel. They didn’t talk much-they didn’t have to. When they finally arrived at the little ramen shop, they immediately picked out Eunhyuk’s dad’s car-he had arrived before them.

The place was surprisingly empty when they walked in, and there were only two other costumers sitting at two different tables; both were men holding newspapers reading while they ate.

“Dad,” called Eunhyuk as he and Donghae walked closer to the older man.

“Hyukjae, Donghae, I’m so happy you made it,” said his dad with a smile as the two boy sat across from him.

“It’s been a while Mr. Lee,” Donghae smiled, “I actually saw Sora today,”

Eunhyuk’s head turned sharply, “She’s here?” he asked.

“Yeah, I was shocked to see her. It’s been quite a while since that weekend we had at your house,” Donghae felt nervous for some reason; he felt as though he had to earn Mr. Lee’s respect for dating his son-clearly that wasn’t really the case.

“I don’t know what to do with that girl,” said Eun’s dad. “She does what she wants. She gets that from her mother.”

Eunhyuk nodded his head as he agreed, “That’s true,”

“Um-so, how have you been holding up? How’s work?” asked Donghae as he looked at the menu.

Eunhyuk’s dad smiled, “I’ve been doing fine, and so has my job. Thank you for asking. I hear you were in China, do you like living there?”

Eunhyuk noticed his dad’s attention was only focused on Donghae as his lover answered, “To tell you the truth I hate it,”

“Really. Hyukjae did we ever take a trip to Hong Kong once? I think we did,”

“Uh, yeah dad,” the boy said.

“Hong Kong is different from Beijing,” Donghae said.

“It’s still China nonetheless,” smiled the older man. “Are you going back soon?”

It was a subject that they never liked to think about, “Yes, I think we go back in November,”

“At least you have another month. It’s almost October, can you believe it?” his dad said. It was almost like Eunhyuk didn’t exist. “I believe you have a birthday coming up,”

“On the 15th. I’ll be 22,”

“You two will be the same age.” He pointed out with a slight giggle. “In how many weeks will that be?”

“-about three and a half,”

Mr. Lee nodded. There was an awkward silence between them before the older man changed the subject, “Hyukjae, there’s reason I wanted to meet with the two of you today,”

Suddenly, Donghae stood, “Will you excuse me? I have to go to the bathroom.” He then left Eunhyuk alone with his dad.

The older man said, “Well, I don’t have much more time-but-I wanted to give you this,” he then handed him a piece of paper.

“What is this?” said his son as he read what was on it.

“I wanted to tell you weeks ago, but it took a lot of time to furnish it,” he said with a smile.

Eunhyuk felt tears swell in his eyes, “Dad-you bought us…an apartment?” he was too stunned for words.

“I know it’s not much, but…”

“Dad, this means more to me than anything else,” he then stood up and hugged him.

Tears also swelled but didn’t flow down his cheeks, “I only want you to be happy,” he smiled as they let go of each other.

“Does mom know?”

“She does, but let me tell you it wasn’t her idea.”

Eunhyuk whipped swelling tears from his eyes, “Um-I don’t know what to say,”

“You don’t have to say anything except thank you,” his dad giggled.

“Thanks, I--,”

“Now, the location is ways away from where you’re currently living; it’s about an hour away from here,” his dad informed. “The place is completely secluded and the two of you will have so much privacy there,”

Eunhyuk’s eyes looked passed his father’s when he saw Donghae come up. He then wrapped his arms around his neck. The other boy didn’t know what was going on, “What?”

“Look,” Eunhyuk said as he held up the paper work for Donghae to see.

“You can’t be serious,” Donghae said once it sank in.

“It’s the best we can do for the two of you. You’re family now Donghae,” he said as he shook his hand.

“Thank you so much,”

Mr. Lee nodded, “Well, I have to go; here are the directions to the house. Stay safe boys,” he hugged them both before leaving.

After his dad left, the two boys sat back down as they awed over the piece of paper. They couldn’t believe what had just happened. Holding each other’s hands tightly, they talked it over.

“Now we have a place to escape to,” Donghae said. “Why would you’re dad do this?”

Eunhyuk shook his head, “I don’t know, but I feel really lucky to have parents like that,”

“We have our own place, baby,” Donghae said in a slight whisper. His smile was wide and happy.

“I just can’t believe it,” the older boy said with a giggles, “I love you so much,”

Donghae bit his lower lip as he nodded. “I love you too,”

Suddenly, the waiter walked over to them. He seemed tall and his hair was a dark brown. As he pulled out his notepad, he smiled as he said, “Well, what can I get you guys to drink?”

Donghae let go of Eunhyuk’s hand, “I’ll have just water, please,”

Eunhyuk grinned, “The same,”

The boy smiled, “Have you decided on what you would like to eat?”

Donghae’s eyes looked down at the menu, “Um, would you suggest anything to us?” he asked as he was still unsure of what to get.

“Well, we have a few special on the menu today, but may I suggest the Ramen Special? It’s loaded with all sorts of meats, vegetables and the juice is exquisite.” The waiter said as his hands fell and folded over one another.

Eunhyuk and Donghae looked at each other, “We’ll take that,” Donghae nodded.

“Okay, so that’s two waters and two Ramen Specials. You guys made it easy for me today,” he grinned as he took their menus.

“Glad we could help,” Eun smiled.

“Your order shouldn’t be too long. We’ve just cooked up a fresh pot,” smiled the young boy and he then left. Eunhyuk, who was facing the front of the store, watched the boy walk into the kitchen.

“Is it me, or does that guy look just like Kibum?” he said in a low and secretive voice.

Donghae looked back, but no one was seen, “I hadn’t noticed.”

“I used to come here all the time. This must be a family owned restaurant. You can’t really find good authentic Japanese Ramen anywhere but here,” Eunhyuk mentioned. He noticed that Donghae was looking at him. It seemed as though he wasn’t really listening to what he was saying-just mesmerized at how he moved his lips and how many time his blinked his eyes. “-what?” he said feeling a bit shy.

Donghae giggled softly, “-nothing. I just like looking at you, that’s all,”

“Well, save it for tonight. Huh, speaking of which, what did you want to discuss with me?” his smile sharply faded.

Donghae’s body stiffened as his heart began to race, “I-um…well,” but before he could finish what he had to say, their food came out. As the Kibum clone set their bowls down he smiled.

“Here you go,” he said to Donghae, “-and here you go,” he sort of giggled as did his costumers. Their waters were in place, and the man stood straight, “Just let me know if you need anything. Please enjoy your lunch,” he then left them.

Donghae was slightly glad that he came just in time to stop him from telling Eunhyuk what his plans were. But that didn’t stop his lover from picking up where they left off, “So?”

Donghae sighed, “I…maybe now isn’t a good time. We’ll talk later,”

“You’re scaring me, Donghae,” Eunhyuk said as he looked nowhere else but at his boyfriend.

Donghae laughed, “It’s not like I’m breaking up with you. I just want to talk to you is all,”

Eun looked at him strangely, “Okay? Well, I might be stuck at the studio for the rest of today. We can still have dinner, and afterwards we’ll go check out our apartment,”

After the schedule was laid out, Donghae nodded, “Good.”

“I wonder what my dad got us,” Eun mentioned before stuffing his mouth in the best ramen he had ever tasted.

“I hope it’s nothing cheap,” said Donghae with a mouth mostly full of food.

Eunhyuk looked at him, “My family is not poor.” He felt insulted.

“I know. I didn’t mean it like that,” the other said, “I just hope that it’s not ugly,”

“If my mom had anything to do with, then it might be,” the other boy giggled.

Donghae laughed.

Eunhyuk then looked at his watch, “Maybe we should hurry,” he said. “Don’t want to be late,”

The two boys then guzzled their food down. It was so delicious that Donghae kept saying that they were gonna have to come back there every time they wanted to go out on dates, and of course Eunhyuk agreed. At the cash register, they were met by on old lady who looked as sweet as can be.

“Did you enjoy your food?” she smiled.

“Yes, it was very delicious. We’re gonna have to come back,” Eunhyuk told her.

“Oh, I’m so glad. Young people are always coming here. My grandson found his love that way,” she smiled greatly. The two boys just nodded. “No doubt you two are lovers,” she eyed them.

Eun and Donghae froze, but had no choice but to admit it.

“Cherish your love,” she told them. “Be good to each other,” she handed them their receipt. “Come back anytime,”

“Thank you,” Donghae smiled as he nodded.

The sun was trying to show its face through the thick heavy clouds. As the two young lovers buckled themselves, Eunhyuk turned to Donghae, “How did she know?”

Donghae shrugged.

“-and to be so calm about it. Maybe her grandson is gay too,” he sort of laughed.

“I like it here,” nodded the other boy.

“Will there be any other surprises today?” Eunhyuk said with a swing of sarcasm.

“Hey, your dad did us a huge favor,” Donghae told him. His face looked serious.

“I know he did. That’s not what I meant.” He then started his car, and they were soon back on the road.

There was nobody around for miles as Heechul and Hankyung walked back into their apartment. Since neither of them had schedules, Heechul figured that they would just spend the day together. As they carried in the leftover lunches, Hankyung set everything in the fridge.

“I’m so full,” whined Heechul as he collapsed on the couch. He watched his friend take out a soda and he walked over to sit next to him. “It kind of sucks that we have nothing to do today,” he told him.

Hankyung subtly looked at his friend, “I like not having anything to do,”

“Of course you do. You make one wrong turn and you throw up,” Heechul replied with slight laughter. He couldn’t see the amount of annoyance that was hidden beneath the Chinaman’s eyes.

Seeing as though he had no response he then stood. Right then, he heard his phone beep of low battery life. Grunting loudly, he then went to his room. Hankyung couldn’t tune out his friend when he began to yell about how he could find his charger.

“Hankyung have you seen it? Where the hell is my damn charger?” he asked in a slightly panic stricken voice.

Hankyung looked at him, “I think Eunhyuk had it last,” he told him.

Heechul then stopped and walked towards him, “Why would Eunhyuk have my phone charger?” he saw his friend shrug.

“Didn’t you lend it to him?”

Heechul shook his head, “Of course not,” he was disgusted by the thought of someone taking one of his positions, and only knew one way to express it-by throwing his phone on the couch. “Now I have to go all the way down there,”

Hankyung chuckled under his breath as he was greatly amused by the fact that he had his best friend wrapped around his finger. As he watched Heechul leave, he then got up and saw that he had been sitting on the cord that entire time. “I found your charger Heechul,” he said under his breath as he sat back down. As he laughed, he turned on the television and he anticipated upon his friends return.

“This is bullshit,” Heechul spat as he walked out of the elevator. Taking long strides, he approached the empty apartment in no time. Opening the door with his key, he then quickly made his way for Eunhyuk’s room.

“What did he do with it?” he said as he looked at every outlet, in every drawer, and in every corner, but there was still no sign of it. Finally, and with desperate measures, he then moved Eunhyuk’s neatly placed pillows and was stopped by a very curious object. “Behold,” Heechul evilly smiled as he saw Eunhyuk’s most precious possession-his diary.

“I remember when I gave him this,” he said as he held it. Thinking that he shouldn’t, he couldn’t resist the temptation. He then opened it, and for some reason the very last entry enticed his curiosity the most:

“I feel we’ve connected. We’ve connected in so many ways. I don’t just see him as my boyfriend, I see him as my lover-my other half. In simpler words, his boat is attached to mine. But words really cannot explain my true feelings for him; especially after last night. I suppose if I say I love you a million times, I guess that could sum it up in the least. Though, I’m happy we had the chance to be together. I just wish we had more time together-I hate saying that because it sounds like one of us is dying or something. Oh, I sometimes feel like screaming. It’s just that it’s so stressful knowing that he has to go back to China. I hate that we only have a month left to be with each other.

I think we must’ve done it like ten times. I think we’re getting better at it. Not like we weren’t before, but you know what I mean. I’ve said this before, but Donghae is a god when it comes down to love making…”

Heechul threw the book clean across the room. His eyes were wide, but he wasn’t terribly shocked. He just couldn’t believe his eyes. He knew that there was something going on between Eunhyuk and Donghae, but he never would have guessed. He slowly walked towards the messily opened book as its pages were faced down; he then picked it up and placed it back in its rightful place.

Hankyung was still sitting on the couch when Heechul walked back in. He grinned with amusement when he saw the astonished, odd, and slightly frightened and disturbed expression on his face.

“It’s about time you figured it out.” Hankyung said to him as he held up his phone charger. He watched Heechul sit down next to him.

His eyes stared blankly ahead of him and he said, “I can’t believe it,”

“If you weren’t such an asshole you’d learn that things aren’t as complicated as they seem,” Hankyung laughed.

“No, no, no, moron, you aren’t going to believe what I just read,” his face was now blank.

Hankyung couldn’t ignore the seriousness in his friend’s voice any longer, “What?” he had his full attention.

Heechul then began, “You know how strangely close Eunhyuk and Donghae are? Well, turns out they’re really lovers,” his voice was kind of raised.

Hankyung’s eyes widened, “Are you sure? Cause everybody thinks that about us, yet we’ve managed never to touch each other,”

“Look, I read this from Eunhyuk’s diary. He was going on and on about them doing it. You know, I knew something was going on, but I never thought it was that deep,”

“Deep?” Hankyung asked.

“Yeah, like they’re so in love with one another.”

They sat silent for a few seconds as they both imaged different scenes of the Eunhae couple. Scrunching up their noses, they then looked at each other.

“If they really are then who cares,” Hankyung said.

“I don’t. It was just news to me. It might even be best if we just kept this to ourselves. Let’s never give off the impression that we know-more fun that way.”

Hankyung nodded, “No doubt you’ll forget about it by the end of the day anyways,” he sort of snarled.

Heechul laughed, “You are probably right about that. Hey, let’s get out of here. I can’t stand staying home,”

The other boy nodded and followed his best friend out of the door. Even though it was still raining out, they managed to have fun. It only took a few hours to delete the information out of both their minds.

~4:30pm~

It was a hard and stressful day. The members of the subgroup Super Junior-Happy were absolutely exhausted. Their throats were dry and their heads throbbed. Singing just two songs over and over instantly led them to hate their own product, and most of them were threatening to quit the recording session. By the time they were able to breathe real and fresh air, Eunhyuk had long forgotten about his date with Donghae; not to mention their new apartment.

“Hey, how you holding up?” asked Yesung as he patted the younger boy on his shoulder.

Eunhyuk looked his way, “Good, I guess,” he forced a fake smile.

Yesung nodded, “We really need to write our own stuff more often. I mean, Cooking Cooking and Pajama Party both have good and catchy tunes, but I don’t know if I can ever sing those songs again,”

“I can’t argue with that,” giggled Eunhyuk. “My damn head hurts because of it,”

“Bye guys. Wish me luck,” said Leeteuk as he rushed to unlock his car.

“Where are you going?” asked Kangin and basically the others.

“Love Fighter, remember?”

Everyone just nodded.

“I’ll see you later,” said the leader before he closed the door. Moments later he drove off.

Yesung and Kangin rode together while Sungmin and Shindong did also. It was only Eunhyuk. As he sleepily drove back to the dorms, he turned up the radio to keep him awake. He noticed that one of their songs was playing and he ended up singing along to it. As he parked his car and walked into the vast building, he figured he must’ve taken longer to return home as he didn’t see any of his fellow members. He lazily pressed the floor button, and the doors immediately closed. He rested his head on the wall as he thought. There was something that bothered him. He felt as though he had forgotten something very important and he just couldn’t remember.

When the doors finally opened, he slowly walked down the hall. His apartment which was shared by many was fairly empty. Anyone who was there was comfy in their own room. Eunhyuk wasn’t far from his, and after closing the door he then fell onto his bed. He closed his eyes as he rested for a few moments. Suddenly, he heard his phone go off. Hoping that it wasn’t any of the managers calling for an emergency recording, he then happily saw that it was Donghae. The message read: “Are you home yet? I’m starving,” Eunhyuk had to laugh. He then gave out a gasp when he remembered what he had forgotten. Leaping onto his feet, he then left the room. Frantically dialing for his lover, he impatiently waited on his answer.

“Yo!” said the other boy.

“Donghae, I totally forgot we had plans. Oh, my god, the apartment!” he said hysterically.

“Slow your role, babe. You forgot about all this? Just what the hell were they doing to you back there?” Donghae voice sounded tired as well, but his was more of a lazy tired.

“Don’t ask. I think we must’ve sung Cooking Cooking and Pajama Party like 18 times,” his voice seemed louder as he was the only one if the elevator.

“Yikes, that sucks,” Donghae replied in a deep monotone way. “Well, you’ll forget all about that when you see me,”

“You sound very confident and cocky right now. Have you been drinking?” Eunhyuk laughed. The doors suddenly opened, and just a few ways away stood Donghae locking the apartment door. Eunhyuk laughed loudly; especially when their eyes met.

When they finally approached one another, they embraced in a very tight and close hug. Donghae gave him a little kiss on the cheek, and with his arm wrapped around his shoulders, they both headed into the elevator.

“I missed you today,” said the younger and slightly shorter boy.

Eunhyuk smiled at him, “I missed you too, and you’re right,” he told him.

“About what?” asked the confused boy.

“I forgot already,” Eun’s voice was calm and smooth.

Donghae giggled as he bit his lip, and almost instantly he pressed his lips onto his boyfriend’s. After a few soft strokes, Donghae pulled himself away forcefully. Holding his head up as he averted his eyes, he then said, “I should stop; don’t want to get full before dinner,” he looked for his lover’s reaction, and it came in goodtime.

“What are you saying?” he laughed. He then wrapped his arms around the younger boy’s neck. “I can’t wait to check out our new home,” he said with a slight whisper.

A smile formed on Donghae’s face, “Me neither.”

The doors slid opened and they stepped out. To the world, they were just friends, but secretly they were lovers. As Eunhyuk smiled at every chance he had towards Donghae, the other boy boldly hooked his arm around his waist. Eunhyuk was in too much of a good mood to be sour at him.

As the hour of five o’clock grew near, the two boy sat in Eunhyuk’s car set out to satisfy their stomachs. Donghae felt tiny butterflies flicker about in his belly when his mind began to think about how he would approach to even ask his boyfriend if they could tell the other’s about their relationship. Fearing that that night wasn’t the night, nothing could still his pounding heart.

It was the Ramen Shop that they chose. It was appropriately crowded with all sorts of people as they walked inside to be seated. They noticed that the waiter they had before was nowhere to be seen, and instead it was a shorter boy with hair nearly touching the tip of his shoulders. His smile was charming and his arms were well built. Eunhyuk couldn’t help but notice how attractive he was.

“Just the two of you dining tonight?” he asked with a smile.

Eunhyuk answered quite nervously while Donghae stared off into space.

“Right this way, gentlemen,” and they followed.

Taking a seat right across from the table they had earlier, their seating host said, “You’re waiter will be with you soon. Can I start you with any drinks?” he asked.

Donghae spoke for the both of them, “Two beers please,” he smiled.

Eunhyuk quickly corrected him, “I’ll take water with that,”

The other boy nodded and went on his way.

Eunhyuk narrowed his eyes at his boyfriend, “You know I don’t drink, Donghae,”

The other boy grabbed his hand as he smiled, “Well, do you know how much fun you’d be for me if you did?” he joked.

Eunhyuk jerked his hand away, “You’re not funny,” he told him as he tried to look serious.

“Oh, c’mon,” Donghae giggled as he reached for his hand once more. “I’m only kidding, and you’re already fun,” he smiled sweetly.

“Ugh, whatever.”

Their waiter soon arrived, and he was surprised to see the two boys twice in the same day. “Fancy seeing you again,” he laughed.

“We just couldn’t resist. The food is so good here,” Donghae said charmingly.

“I’m not gonna lie to you, but a lot of our customers say that,” the boy smiled.

“Why wouldn’t they, I mean, I think we might have to come here as often as we can,” Donghae replied again as he looked at Eunhyuk.

The waiter chuckled and then went down to business, “Are you daring to order something different this evening, or will you stick with the specials?”

The two boys eyed each other as Eunhyuk spoke up, “I think we’ll order what we had earlier today,” he said with a smile.

“Alrighty,” and he then left.

Eunhyuk looked back at Donghae, “I swear that guy looks just like Kibum. We need to bring him here so he can see,”

Donghae agreed, “Yeah.” He seemed a bit removed as he couldn’t stop thinking about what the true purpose of them meeting here was really about.

“You look nice today,” Eun smiled kind of shyly. “I love what you did with your hair,” he said as he reached across the table to fiddle with the stubborn strand of hair that wouldn’t cooperate.

Donghae eyes met his and with a smile he said to him, “You look perfect all the time,”

Eunhyuk stopped and he slowly sat back down. As he blushed, he then suddenly remembered what Donghae wanted, “What was it you wanted to tell me?”

The moment was upon him. Donghae couldn’t say anything so instead he improvised, “I-uh…just-wanted to say how…” his eyes veered off to the side as he saw a young couple about their age-possibly older, holding each other’s hands. He also noticed that they were married. “-how I want to spend the rest of my life with you; we’ll grow old together.” He smiled charmingly.

Eunhyuk’s face blushed even more, “I love you, Donghae.” His voice was soft and sweet. He saw his boyfriend answer him instantly and he knew it to be true.

When their food ate it was nearly twenty minutes later. It was such a soothing and steaming hot soup, and they ate until they couldn’t anymore. Throughout the evening, Donghae was a complete gentleman. He hated himself for chickening out of talking over the issue of the secrecy of their relationship, but he figured that it wasn’t the time yet.

“You guys have a good night,” said the young waiter as he waved towards them. Eunhyuk and Donghae waved back with a big smiles reassuring them that they would return soon.

The night sky was now visible. The stars sparkled and the moon shined so bright. The air was much chillier and the clouds and rain had finally subsided. Eunhyuk clung to Donghae’s side as he felt cold from the wind.

“Here,” Donghae told him. He then took off his warm jacket and placed over his lover’s shoulders.

Eunhyuk smiled, “Thanks,”

They finally made it to the car, and the first they did was look for the directions that his dad gave. “Here it is,” he said as he handed it to Donghae.

The other boy looked at it, and while the lights were still he then said, “It’s gonna take us forever to get there. We have to drive clear across Seoul,”

“We’ll manage,” Eunhyuk said as he started the car. It didn’t take him long too got on the street. And so the hunt began.
