‘You want me to do WHAT??!’ Eunhyuk, who was taken aback, asked in a slightly higher tone.
‘You heard me.’ Donghae flashed him a somehow suspicious smile.
‘But…that-that’s ABSURD.’ Eunhyuk shook his head in disbelief. ‘You already have butlers, drivers and housekeepers to boss around. Why do I have to be your ‘personal helper’? I don’t even know what that means!!’ He exclaimed.
‘Oh, it’s nothing. You just have to drive me to school everyday, finish my homework, and do anything I order you too. That should be pretty easy, right?’ Donghae grinned, completely satisfied that he had thought of the idea. He even gave himself an imaginary pat on the back.
‘WHAT? No way. I’m not gonna do that. What do you think I am, your freaking puppet?’ Eunhyuk crossed his arms over his chest and turned his head.
‘But you promised you would do anything~’ Donghae pouted.
‘NO.’ Eunhyuk simply said, trying hard not to be affected by Donghae’s puppy-like facial expression. He felt weird seeing this completely different side of Lee Donghae. My,my. Ain’t this guy full of surprises…
‘Argh, my back.’ Donghae suddenly grunted, one hand on his lower back and the other against the wall, supporting himself. ‘It hurts. Haih, I wonder who could have caused me such pain and trouble?’ Donghae said sarcastically, putting on his act.
Eunhyuk rolled his eyes.
‘Geez. You’re such a drama queen. Fine. I’ll do it. But ONLY for a week. That’s it.’ Eunhyuk stressed out.
Donghae nearly jumped out of excitement.He didn’t care if it was for a week or a day, this actually turned out better than he expected. He never thought that Eunhyuk would agree to his demands. Even Donghae knew it was ridiculous as hell and nobody would ever agreed to it. But then, he guessed Lee Hyukjae was an exception.
‘Okay, then. It’s settled. You’re officially mine now, Hyukkie. Well, for a week.’ He grinned like an idiot.
‘I’m not yours, you jerk! And what did you just called me?’ Eunhyuk scrunched his face, giving him the what-the-hell look.
‘Hyukkie. That’s my nickname for you now. And yes, you’re mine for this entire week. You promised, remember? Or are you the kind of guy who makes empty promises and is never true on his words?’ Donghae questioned him.
‘You-you….Argh!! I give up! Do whatever you want, I don’t care anymore. You’re impossible, Lee Donghae.’ Eunhyuk was on the edge of pulling his hairs out.
Donghae gave out a satisfied smile.
‘Alright. Now let’s go to school. You don’t wanna be late, do you? Come on, you have to drive me there, Hyukkie.’ Donghae pulled on the other guy’s wrist, gesturing him to start moving.
‘Stop. Calling. Me. That.’ Eunhyuk glared at him. Truthfully, he thought it was better if Donghae called him ‘monkey’ instead of Hyukkie. He hated it but Donghae seems pretty comfortable and was getting used to the new nickname.
‘Why? Do you prefer me to call you ‘baby’?’ Donghae teased him, and just as expected, Eunhyuk blushed like he always did. Donghae was laughing so much on the inside. God, how much he loved making the other boy blush.
‘Eww. NO. That’s gross.’ Eunhyuk cringed, trying to keep a straight face.
Donghae chuckled quietly. Oh, yeah. He was definitely enjoying this. He grabbed his car keys on the bedside table and threw it to Eunhyuk. The red-headed boy caught it clumsily.
‘Hurry up and get ready for school. Then, drive. I’ll be waiting downstairs.’ Donghae said flatly, working on his classic oh-I’m-so-charming-but-in-a-jerk-ish-kind-of-way attitude. He walked out, not even bothering to close the door behind him and left the astounded Eunhyuk.

‘You drive like an old lady.’ Donghae said blankly, as soon as they arrived at the school parking lot.
Eunhyuk shot him a glare.
‘No, I don’t. I was just being safe, you idiot.’
‘Yeah, at 40 km per hour.’ Donghae snorted. ‘I bet a tortoise could walk past by the car with you driving.’
‘Shut up.’ Eunhyuk finally said, getting out of the car. He was in no mood to get in another argument with the brunette.
‘Hey, wait!’ Donghae shouted, quickly getting out of the car as well, catching up to Eunhyuk who was already ahead of him.
‘What now?’ Eunhyuk snapped.
Donghae smiled and grabbed Eunhyuk’s hand, holding it tightly.
‘Okay, let’s go.’ He said with an accomplished look, pulling Eunhyuk alomg with him.
‘YAH!! What do you think you’re doing?’ Eunhyuk widened his eyes, looking around in a panic.
‘You’re my personal helper now, remember? So I can practically do anything I want to and you can’t say anything about it.’ Donghae shrugged, keeping on pulling Eunhyuk as he talked.
‘Let me go. People are watching!’ he hissed under his breath, trying to cover his face with his free hand. He tried to shake off from Donghae’s grip but he was holding his hand so tight that Eunhyuk could feel his hand muscles starting to cramp.
And Eunhyuk was right. People WERE watching. Well, who wouldn’t? The infamous Lee Donghae walking around hand in hand with the new student? Now THAT is a hot piece of gossip. By now, people were already talking around and it’ll just be a matter of time before the whole school knows.
‘H-h-hyung?’ an uncertain tone of voice called out from behind. Donghae turned around simultaneously as Eunhyuk did.
‘Siwon-ah!!’ Donghae called out, waving like a dork, as he spotted his two best friends, Siwon and Kyuhyun.
‘Hyung…what’s….going on here?’ Siwon eyed him curiously. Kyuhyun, on the other hand, had his attention away from the PSP for the first time. He couldn’t believe what was in front of his eyes either.
Donghae knew this was an opportunity he couldn’t miss. He was very well aware of Siwon’s little crush on the redhead, and yes, he felt threatened by that. Donghae also knew it was wrong about him lying about his feelings towards Eunhyuk, but that was before he found out that he, too, like him. Siwon might be his best friend but when it comes to this, he couldn’t just let it be. The heart wants what the heart wants.
‘Oh, this?’ Donghae put up his and Eunhyuk’s intertwined hands and said as-a-matter-of-factly. ‘Don’t you know already? We’re dating. Hyukkie’s officially my boyfriend now.’

‘WHAT THE- that is so not true! What the hell are you crapping about now, Lee Donghae?!’ Eunhyuk’s voice stormed through the hallway.
‘Awh, baby~ Don’t be shy. It’s just natural for us to be dating. Why, you didn’t seem shy at all when you spent the night at my house last night.’ Donghae grinned, putting his hand around Eunhyuk’s waist.
Siwon’s jaw practically dropped, his mouth forming a perfect 'O’. Kyuhyun nearly dropped his PSP while he repeatedly pinched himself, trying to figure out if this was actually a dream.

A/N : First of all, I think apologies are in order. I’m so sorry for the late update. I’ve been extremely busy with school. I was right about high school being such a nightmare. Tons and tons of homework, and I just get too tired to update by the end of the day. Finally, today’s Saturday and I’m free~weeeeee!! But then I remembered. I’m going back to school again on Monday.
