Summary: Donghae was never quite loved. His father
always hated him and hurted him and his mother left him. Will anyone ever love him?
The next day Eunhyuk came to my house just like usual, to go to school together. Eunhyuk…….. He is really nice to me and so is Sungmin, but I just can’t seem to be able to open up to him for some reason that I don’t even know why. Dad was drunk again last night and I got hit several times, but no biggy. I’m pretty used to it now, but lately it seems to get worse and worse. I still remember when I was little, I asked dad if he can play with me, but all I got was some hitting. He never called my name either. He all ways called me something like a piece of shit or something you would call a dog when you’re angry.
I still remember the day when my mom couldn’t stand any of it any longer and left me to my dad to literally die. She lied to me about having a business trip and gave me a letter before she left me. I even memorized the whole thing.
‘Dear Donghae,
I am sorry that I left you to your father, even though it is very dangerous. I could have brought you with me, but I had this feeling of hatred on you. To be honest Donghae, I never truly loved you as a real son. I hope you understand me and forgive me.
Love your mother’
I still have the letter and when ever I look at it, it just brings me to tears. After she left, my dad seemed to hate me even more. I wonder sometimes if really, the death of my older brother, Dongae was my fault. I guess it is. I guess it’s all my fault that my older brother died, that my dad got ruined, that my mom ran away, and that whenever someone sees me they feel disgusted and sick. I wonder if Eunhyuk and Sungmin really like me. Maybe they are just acting nice. Which ever it is, I love how they care for me. I never felt it before.

“Jeez, why isn’t he coming out?”
The door than opened as if on cue. Donghae quietly shut the door behind him as if scared he might wake someone up and came to me and said, “Sorry, Eunhyuk. I was just thinking of something.”
“Again? You really think too much sometimes. You know that?”
Donghae just began walking and said, “Come on, before Sungmin gets mad at us for being late.”
“No need to. He called me this morning and said that he was going to a funeral in Japan where one of his relative lived. He said he was going to be gone for a while, like about two weeks because whoever that relative is really darn important.”
Donghae shrugged and said, “Why didn’t he tell us earlier?”
“Sudden death. Heart attack or something like that.”
They reached the school and did the same thing as usual. After school they walked out together and began talking about spring break that came after 5 more days.
“Man, I feel bad for Sungmin”
“Yeah, I agree. He’s going to have aaalllllloooottttt of homework.”
Donghae just laughed at how Eunhyuk looked when he said that.
“Hey, you actually laughed. Its rare to see you do that.”, it really did look good. He should to that more often.
Donghae rolled his eyes and began walking across the street.
“Hey! Wait up!”
When Eunhyuk caught up he said, “Sooooo, what ya wanna do today. Since it’s the weekend, why don’t we do something that we can do until really late.”
“Didn’t you complain seconds ago about the pile of homework we had? And don’t you have Hagwun(Tutor kind of stuff if u don’t know) at 10 PM?”
“My god, do you know my schedule more than I do?”
Donghae just smiled. Eunhyuk than said, “How long are you allowed to stay out today?”
“The same as usual. As long as you want.”
“Are you sure?”
Donghae nodded and Eunhyuk said, “Ok, what about this? I’ll ask my teacher if I can have a makeup lesson at 1 amish, and we can hang out until around 12:30.”
“Im ok with it, but will your teacher?”
“Yeah she’ll be fine. She’s use to me pushing my classes abit. Let me just call her right now.”
Eunhyuk began dialing the number and waited for her to answer. “Yub oh sae yo? Um hello Mrs. Park I was wondering if I can push my tutor to 1 am. Is that ok with you? Ok. Ok. Don’t worry Mrs. Park. Uh huh. Bye.”
“What she say?”
“She sounded kind of annoyed, but she said ok.”
“Great. Now what?”
“Now we think of what to do……………………………. What about no lae bang(singing thing u know…. Where u press some buttons and then a song comes out with the lyrics and u start singing like crazy^^)?”
“We can do that later at night. What about-”
“BUNGEE JUMPING!!!!!”
“WHAT??”
“What? I said BUNGEE JUMPING!!!!!”
“Count me out.”
“Why Donghae? Too chicken?”, for some reason whenever I tease Donghae and see him turn red, I cant help, but think its cute. Whoa, what am I thinking.
“No I’m not-“
“Your turning red Donghae”, his face turned even more red.
“Donghae, if your really scared, I can jump with you, just hold me tight.” I can see him turn more red if that was possible.
“Its not that-”
“I was just teasing ya” I started cracking up.
“Why you”
“Get me if you can, but before you do that, why don’t you think of something fun we can do?”
“What about shopping?”
Eunhyuk’s face turned white, “No way. No Way”
Donghae jus smiled wickedly knowing that Eunhyuk hated shopping the most in the world.
“Donghae, you are the most evil person I ever met.”
Donghae just laughed and said, “Seriously, what are we going to do?”
“My brain cant think straight because of you”
“Eunhyuk if you keep teasing me like that I am going to just make you go back to your house and make you sit down and do all your homework”
“Ok, ok, you are really evil. Sometimes even more evil than Sungmin!”
“What about we just go eat for now”
“Ok”, and Eunhyuk hung his arm around Donghae. Donghae flinched at the sudden movement and slightly stiffened, but acted like as if nothing was wrong. Eunhyuk couldn’t help wonder why he was like that, but quickly dropped his arm. They began looking for a restaurant as if nothing happened, but Eunhyuk couldn’t help but feel something strange toward Donghae. As if he needed him…..

It was 12:03 and they decided to go home now.
“Well see ya tomorrow!”
“See ya, Eunhyuk”, and went separate ways.
After eating they really decided to go bungee jumping, but in order to go bungee jumping, Eunhyuk had to go shopping which was pure torture for him, but still was really fun. After that they went to the No Lae Bang, and sang for 2 or 3 hours, singing as many songs as they could. Eunhyuk couldn’t help, but feel that Donghae opened up to him a bit more than normal and felt really great about it. He saw Donghae laugh a lot too. And when he smiled, it seemed to reach his eyes.

To be honest Donghae felt like he had alot of fun for the first time.... Eunhyuk was really nice, but he couldnt help but feel something weird from Eunhyuk. When they were singing and shopping, Eunhyuk kept on staring at his figure and it bothered Donghae..... I learned alot of new things too..... Not just things from school, but things outside. To be honest iIdidnt know what bungee jumping was, but Eunhyuk said alot of stuff about it so I knew basically what it was. When I did it, it felt so good falling.. It was great learning these things that I should have learned from my parents. I learned it from Eunhyuk and he didnt even know that he was teaching me things because he obviously thought I knew everything, it was just that he was telling me everything.....
