Okay, this song reminds me of my uncle, who passed away two and a half years ago. Sometimes it's still so unbelievable that he's gone. It seems like just yesterday when all the cousins and auntie and uncles were hanging out all in the living room at our house during Christmas, and uncle would lead us all in singing Christmas carols. He was always happiest when we were all together. This song reminds me of him and if I listen to it, it's almost guaranteed that I'll cry, especially if I'm singing along. I'm about to tear up again just writing about it, and I'm not even listening...
We miss you, uncle...
Anyway. My mommy had some visitors today! It's her best friend from when she was in university. They've recently started talking frequently again through Facebook! My mommy is a Facebook addict now that she's reconnected with some of her old classmates. Haha.
