In Regards to Draco Losing

Jul 08, 2011 00:26

I thought I was going to feel crushed at the end of this poll, but that's not how I feel at all. I'm so happy that you guys won even though we lost, because our loss was as close to a win as any.

I'm enormously proud of the number of people who have come here to support Draco and have stuck with him this whole time. In the process, I realized that this debate actually made me realize a lot of things I never even thought of about Draco before. Lol, I wrote some long comments for him. I want to extend a personal handshake to everybody who voted for Draco, because I am honored to have known and fought alongside such dedicated fans who would stay up so late just to give him an edge. You guys make me proud to be a Potterhead.

And let's not forget the success we had with voting for Hagrid and beating out Cedric. That showed some serious, real life dedication. They thought they could mess with our polls, and we all banded together to take them down.

So congrats guys! Another reason I'm glad it's over is so that we can all go back to being fellow Potterheads again. Stress is an understatement when it comes to fighting your own right after you've collaborated to effectively. But in the end, I'm more glad that we just be chill with each other instead of fighting over who has the better character/actor.

And as for those of you few who are truly crushed at the loss of Draco, my words are this: We did our very best. We can say that we held nothing back, and gave as good as we got. We had lost a few good soldiers in this miniwar, but in the end, we can finally just relax and stop killing our fingers. Lol. So keep your chin up and look forward guys. :) Besides, you have found fellow Draco fanatics such as yourself. I'd say we DID get something out of this battle in the end: new people with a common interest such as ourselves. Now isn't that a BETTER prize than what any online Trophy or Prize could offer?

Just a thought to keep in your head. :)

Peace Out Potterheads!
