The media isnt controlled by America so much as it is controlled by prejudices that are also common to most Americans. And ur point regarding how selfish people are is just about the whole idea i was working with. Even the sending of monetary aid is done, whether the participants no it or not, so that those who send the money feel good about themselves, not to help those in need.
