New cell phone get!

Dec 19, 2007 11:15

That's right. After years and years and years of use, I'm finally dumping my Toshiba VM4050 (aka Audiovox CDM9950SP) for a new phone. And I'm getting ... a RZR!!!

Okay, so I'm only a few years late to that party. :p

Anyways, the reason for the new phone after having been with Sprint for ages and ages is that I'm finally switching to another carrier. And because my brother got an iPhone earlier this year, and because the whole family is on a single plan, and because for some stupid reason (read: AT&T's crappy billing system) AT&T can NOT handle a family plan where the phones have different area codes whereas Sprint had no such problems, I'm not porting my number over.

What does this mean? It means I'm not just getting a new (old) phone, I'm also getting a new (old) number. I am NOT, however, getting my old 248 number back. (Back in the days when I had a Motorola StarTac. Those were the days.) But I AM going back to that area code. So the new numbah iz:

too-for-ate sicks-twee-tree far-tube-oh-tool

Oh, and on a side note, if that's too hard for you to figure out, you're no longer my friend.

Just kidding. Though it does mean you're not going to be able to call me on my cell phone any more. ;)
