Notes: This is really more like 2 fanmixes I guess, basically its mixtapes from Finn in GA or Lima wherever he is to Rachel in NY and then from Rachel to Finn. This is probably really headcanony as my fanmixes tend to be whether I mean it or not. The basic gist is she's in NY and he's wherever and they're doing the long distance thing for a year and Finn sends Rachel a mixtape and she replies with one back. I'd love to write notes on why I chose each song but that might take a while and the text formatting would be weird and since I have a touch of OCD I like even formatting. However, if you do wanna know why I chose any particular song just ask in the comments or drop me a message on tumblr and I'll be happy to explain :) Oh and one final thing, to understand why a song was chosen you have to remember I chose songs based on Finn and Rachel's perspectives towards each other and their feelings and what emotions and message they want to convey to one another and not my own omniscient perspective. I sort of pictured it like them writing letters to each other but the letters are songs. Also it should be said this isn't coming from a Finn joined the army perspective because I personally believe that was a clever lie he told her to get her to NY. Maybe he is going to GA but I don't honestly think he enlisted. For further inquiry on this, comment below. Wow this has become a long bunch of notes.
