Sho turned his eyes away quickly. He tried to remain calm, looking at the client in front of him. He noticed the eyes that were looking at him from the front table. It was then the end of the meeting. The client had left, but he...he was confused of how to get out of the cafe without having to confront his past. God knows just how he wanted to talk to him, hug him and kiss him...and tell him all the beautiful words of love. Yes...one year is not enough to forget...maybe it'll take forever, but he didn't mind. The main issue now is to get pass Aiba.

He took a deep breath before he took his bag before standing up. Another deep breath he exhaled. He walked, chest up without looking at Aiba. He just passed and ignored him like that. But the moment they were next to each other, his heart felt like it will burst. He clenched his fist hard trying to control himself.

Aiba was still stunned at the guy in front of him...he never felt this surge of emotion whenever he's with Mimura...but why him? Without thinking, he reached for Sho's hand...Sho was shocked at the sudden action. He stood still unable to turn back. His heart is beating so fast and his body is trembling with fear of being found out.

Aiba didn't know what compelled him to do that, but the touch was familiar...His heart beat stronger. Sho look at Aiba and when their eyes met, Aiba quickly let go of the arm. He bowed to show his apology, "I'm really sorry...I didn't know why I suddenly...do that..."

Sho heaved a sigh of relief. Jun did inform him about Aiba's amnesia and he's lucky Aiba didn't recognize him...however, a part of him wished Aiba would remember. He showed a smile and left Aiba standing gazing at him. Sho strolled around the nearby park on his way back to the hotel to clear his mind. not many people were at the park considering the raining season...There are two couples drinking coffee and an old man walking around.

"What was that just now...That was close..." Sho monologue to himself, "How am I going to survive another two days...God, give me strength." To return here was the worst decision ever. He was not happy with the job. It's only the fact that he's the only one capable enough to deal with the head of the project. So, here he is...and it's not off to a good start.Aiba never left his mind...no matter how hard he tried to forget. Like the fallen autumn leaf, his heart had wilted to love any other person, and he accept that fact...as a punishment for his act before. He was already devastated when they were through with each other- no one to blame actually.

He wanted to contact Jun and Ohno to meet up, but halfway dialing, he gave up. That was when he had an impression that he was not alone. Someone is following him. He halted his step as he snucked his phone back into his pocket. He trusted his instinct...and also the rustled of dead leaves being stepped on... He took a careful step forward before accelerating his pace towards his hotel.

Tired of running, he halted his step before turning around slowly. He held up his umbrella as if to hit the person following him,

"Go away or I'll.." His word left hanging at the man in sight.

"Aiba-cha..." he said in soft voice.

Aiba was caught in action. He stood still not knowing what to do...or say. He couldn't even think of the reason for an action. He gave a guilty scratch on his head.

"Why are you following me?" Sho asked.

Aiba fret, "I...I...I thought you look the same as my friend...It's too similar..." Aiba stuttered, "I'll be going now."

"Y...you look wet..." Aiba's clumsiness sure remain unlike his memory. The rains getting heavier and Aiba who was panic of being discover was unlucky at opening his umbrella. Due to his eagerness to stalk him, he didn't open his umbrella, "W...why don't you heat yourself up in my room..." What the hell am I thinking? Stop it Sho! He felt like tearing of his mouth Rewind!

"Ah...I..."Aiba initially plan to refuse but something felt amiss if he refuses. He had this strong feeling about this guy, "Then, I'll just crash in for a while..."

"This guy knows no danger..." Sho sighed to himself. He lead Aiba to his room and get him a clean change while he dry off Aiba's cloth. Sho went for a hot bath leaving Aiba on the couch with a cup of coffee. While Aiba was alone, he couldn't help feeling disturbed with the stranger he's with. For starter, he doesn't seem surprise when he mention about the similarity between him and Mimura. Normally people would freak out...he even invited a stranger-who stalk him-in.

He suddenly felt lightheaded. His head is doing atremendous thinking. Ten minutes later, when Sho came out of the bath, Aiba was already scrunched up in his own dream world. Sho leaned on the bathroom door, crossing his arm as he observe the sleeping face he longed to see.

God, let me just have a few minutes of this...

Slowly, he put on the blanket on Aiba. He kneeled on the floor in front of his face as he swept the hair covering his eyes.

"You're still the same...this peaceful sleeping face...I'm surprised when I see you, but more than anything, I'm can't help feeling happy. You're still the Aiba I knew, even without the memory of our past." He let out a sigh before threw himself onto the floor,

"What am I thinking...we're not suppose to meet again. I have been constraining myself, but why...why does my heart tremble everytime we meet?"

Without warning, the tears felt, "I'm sorry again...in my next life, I swear my love to you that I'll always be with you making you the happiest person on earth."

Sho felt that if he stayed there longer, he'd be hugging or crying at Aiba, so he decided to get free his mind at the bar.

Little that he knew, tears suddenly felt off Aiba's eyes. He heard it. In fact had been awake when Sho was putting the blanket on him...He pulled himself up, hugging his knee in the blanket tightly. Aiba closed his eyes again, an without fail, the image of him in

Sho's embrace came to light. Too bad, only the picture of the them together came, but Aiba know, there's something more than that. Aiba took his phone and dialed for Nino.

Nino fiddled with the pasta on his plate. For a moment, it seemed like his eyes went through the plate. In front of him, Ohno had just finish his share of food and was gulping his beer before leaning back on the chair.

"Oishikatta na~" he let out a satisfied comment. That was when he realized Nino's bad mood, "Why aren't you eating?" He stood up and went to Nino. He put his forehead on Nino's forehead in which Nino turns red, "Is it cold? Naa~ It is not..."

Nino pushed Ohno back, "I'm not sick." He walk away to the couch and threw himself on it.

"Are you...mad...?"Nino did not answer, "Is this about the fishing trip I went without telling you? Are you still going on about this? It was a night...One night..."

Nino glared, "Fishing trip? Why the hell should I care about the fishing trip?" Nino sighed, "You're just clueless are you? Never mind. Let's just pretend this never happened..." He turned on his DS but Ohno took it away.

"Is it because I went with Maru?" Nino looked down. He striked. It was quite unexpected though-this whole thing about Nino getting jealous, "Ne~ Ne~ Are you jealous? You're jealous aren't you?" he nudged Nino.

"Not funny!"

"I won't be with Maru even if he's the last human on earth." Nino face toned down, "He's just a best friend like you and Aiba. True, he knew me better and longer than you do, but time doesn't mean anything. Besides, he's with someone else..." Ohno pulled Nino closer, "Nino, daisuki!"

Nino can't keep his laughter any longer, "Is that the best you could do?"

"It's not funny..." Ohno pulled back, "I'm not good at this sweet stuff."

"Maa~ I accept the apology." He kissed Ohno.

"Well, I hope you can starve for a while because I'm not letting you go for a while."

"Oh-chan..." Nino chuckled as Ohno started carressing his neck, "you're being too fast..." Ohno pulled back, "but it's been a week away..."

Nino wrapped his arm around Ohno's neck, "I didn't say I didn't like it..." He gave a smirk.

"I'm not going to let you sleep tonight." Ohno proclaimed before continuing his caressing. Nino couldn't help but laugh as he enjoyed the pleasure Ohno never failed to give. Just as they were about to go further, the phone ring.

"I'm not stopping..." Ohno said, as he started slid off Nino's pants.

Nino let him do it, while he answered the phone, "This better be good." He was on the phone for a while before he pushed Ohno away and sat straight. His face turned serious, "It's true...but it'll be meaningless if you don't discover it yourself." He hung up the phone after that.

"What happen?" Ohno asked.

"Sho-chan...Aiba met him..."

"Eh...he's back? Eh?"

"Let's just let them be..." He pulled Ohno closer, "We'd better focus on your proclamation just now." Hesitantly, Ohno started back what he was doing.

Sho gulped his second glass of gin and tonic and gradually it numbed his nerve. Feeling rather sleepy, he looked at his watch. Time to head back to reality. He stood up, swaying a little, grabbed the anything he could get a hold of as he made he way back to his room. As he reached the front door, he hesitated for a while before opening it. To his surprise, Aiba was sitting, wrapped tightly in the blanket sobbing as he buried his face on his knees.

He felt stunned. He suddenly felt sober again. He didn't know what to do.  His heart was pounding hard.

"Ano...Ai..I mean...is something wrong?"

Aiba raised his head, giving Sho a sharp, but pained eyes, "You're gonna say Aiba-chan right? You know who I am..." Sho was taken aback at Aiba's statement. This is when he regretted taking Aiba to his room...

"Wha...what are you trying to say?"

"Stop pretending. I see you Sho-chan..." The word Sho-chan made his leg wobbled, "in my head...although not everything, I know there's something about you."

Sho walked to his bed, "It's better if you don't remember."

"Who are you to decide that for me? I deserve my rights to remember...I want..."

"You're just gonna get hurt with those old memory!" Sho cut him off before he could finish, "I am just a piece of memory you don't need."

"How do you know? You said you'd make it up for me in another life...why then...why not now? I don't know why and I don't know how, but I am certain I am in love with you. The moment I saw you, my heart skipped a beat. The moment we touched, I felt something inside me is responding. I felt breathless for a moment...without knowing why. Just know when I close my eyes, suddenly you appeared...Not mimura...but you."

Sho didn't know how to respond. His head hurt, his heart hurt...

"It hurts so much that I'm the only one feeling like this...and you don't." He walked out of the room. Aiba felt like a part of the burden he was carrying had been lifted. He know he wanted Sho...but unless Sho stopped punishing himself who-knows what reason, they'll get nowhere.  He was at the door of the lobby when he realized he left his umbrella and his shirt upstairs.

He looked around for an umbrella but, none appeared. Just then, there was a taxi. He ran out in the heavy rain to the taxi, but before he could go far, a hand forcefully pulled him back.

"I'm sorry...I keep waiting like a fool...I keep punishing myself like a fool...hoping for it to be the best for both of us...but it is not. I am not only hurting myself. I hurt you. I was scared...Because I love you, I was scared." It didn't take long for Aiba to realize he was in Sho's embrace, soaked by the heavy rain. Sho's hug gradually tighten, and Aiba let him stay that way. This familiar warmth.

He almost cried at that moment.

"Sho-chan..." Aiba pulled away after a moment. His eyes struggled to open with the rain shooting on his face like bullet, " I want my memory back...no matter how hurtful it is. I want you to help me...because you're the only one who can."

"Even if you'll hate me?" Sho said trembling.

Aiba grabbed Sho's hand and stroke it, "I don't think my heart will let me..."

"I don't know where to start..."Sho sighed "It might take a long time," He finally let out a smile.

"I don't care even if it takes forever," Aiba smiled back before leaning to kiss Sho.

"For starters, let's go back in and get ourselves some warm comfort." Sho put out his hand in which Aiba reached for before Sho lead him in.

From a distant, Mimura smirked  from inside the car.
"Too bad for me..." he said before leaning back as he turned on the classical music from his car stereo.
