Hello,
Sorry if any of these questions are redundant, I wasn't really able to find the exact answers I was looking for while searching through older entries, and I am also very very nervous and seeking a little reassurance. I am currently a senior and Lang is my first choice for college. I was going to apply early decision because I'm very comfortable with Lang as my first choice, but my parents didn't like the idea of early decision because they wanted a chance to go visit the school before I applied. I'm doing regular decision now because of this.
I'm going up to NYC on December 6th I have an interview on December 7th (which happens to be my birthday!) and I was wondering what have the interviews typically been like this year? I've heard that senior students generally conduct the interviews, what kind of questions do they typically ask?
I got a 550 on the math, 640 on the writing, and 710 on the critical reading portions of the SAT (1900 Combined), I take the ACT later this year. I was wondering if my scores are competitive this year. My GPA is roughly a 3.2-3.3. I ran track and cross country for 3 years, but quit this year because the dynamic of the program really went down hill and it ceased to be fun. I also quit to take more AP classes and be involved in student government.
For supplementary materials I was thinking of sending in a CD of some of the music that I have recorded over the past couple of years. Did any of you guys do something similar to this, or did you stick to writing samples?
Thanks for your help!
