I know I haven't posted in awhile, but I saw this from Michelle's site and found it interesting.  I really have seen way too many movies.

In honor of the release of AFI's new countdown of the 100 greatest movies of all time, I've decided to see how many I've seen - in red.

2. "The Godfather," 1972.
3. "Casablanca," 1942.

Wow! That's incredible!

One of my goals is to see all of the movies on this list... before they put out the new one! ;-)

I've requested "Citizen Kane" from the NYPL. Should be here soon. May as well start from the top!

I know, I know. One of these days I'll get around to it. I guess it's the big gap in my classic movie viewing.

There are a few on there that I'm surprised I haven't seen yet. (Godfathers, On the water front), but there are also a few movies on there that I don't really want to watch. The Deer Hunter being one of them. I know what it's about, I get the references, but I just don't know if I can handle it. Mostly I guess it's the grittier movies... and Sophie's Choice. Some things are left unviewed in my mind.
