Gala, Gala, Gala
Itzhak Perlman at Zoellner tonight for very posh gala. It's very pretty in the hall actually. lots of white and red roses with little white lights and tea light candle and black metal winding vine arches. Very nice. The reception's just starting. Not too much to do tonight. No tickets to sell, just will call to give out. Pleasant night so far. At the moment watching Mike Dammer dislodge a piece of tape from the window. . . Ah, a successful attempt. Very good. Hmm, have found that am also information desk. Have so far told man where table is for dinner, handed out pen, and directed woman to find transporter, which is like wheelchair, but not self moveable. Also, finding hair is going flat. Hate hair. Despite all attempts to make it look nice, does not want to look nice. Does not matter, am posed, beautiful woman who has read to much Bridget Jones lately. :)
