Bath books are fun

Had an interesting discussion on icq with inquis last night. We both wondered why they don't make bath books for adults, especially as it is a favorite pipe dream of many 'adults' to work out a way to read a book in the bath without damaging it. At one time I even went as far as to buy a couple of old books in a second hand store at $2 each - happy in the knowledge I would not feel guilty reading them in the bath. I think I read most of David Hume's Treatise on Human Nature that way (the ethics section at least).

But then I imagined an edition of Lord of the Rings made out of inflatable plastic. It would be big. It would require a lot of hot air. It might be expensive, but then there are lots of expensive LOTR toys being made at the moment.
