I believe that it's chronological, but I'm not entirely certain; those of you whose art knowledge is stronger than mine are free to correct me on this point. Notable also for the magnificent morphing software - it's some of the best that I've ever seen, with it's smooth transitions that successfully maintain the significant elements (eyes, jawlines) throughout and create an almost three dimensional effect during the peak of the process.
