Are there no new ideas?
Coming next year we have New Amsterdam, about a detective with eternal life who uses his powers to help other and maybe redeem his soul. Forever Knight, anyone?
Then there's Journeyman, about a character who must balance brief bursts of time travel (in which he fixes the lives of others, natch) with his own hectic life. Last time I saw that show it was called Tru Calling, and before that it was Early Edition.
The less said about the remake of The Bionic Woman the better, although the pilot at least will have Katee Sackhoff, star of Halloween: Resurrection, MTV's Undressed, Hefner: Unauthorized and some show with spaceships and robots in it.
God help us, it looks as though the most promising new show is The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I think that the living will envy the dead.
