I've come to terms with the fact that I dislike most Christians, the idea of spread the faith pisses me off. I once got a 4cm by 3cm information pamphlet titled Jesus loves you, the words suffocating the a yellow smiling face. The smiling circle must have been envious of the face I made as I read the words, the shocked face you make when you realize you urgently have to vomit. These happy smiling people love to distribute pamphlets and information of love and christ oblivious to the fact that nobody will care, littering the world with their proclamations of faith in hopes of being completely accepted into a community. It's fine if you're part of a community, especially if it supports good morals (even if it does so only partially, such as the catholic religion), however keep it to yourself unless asked. Don't paper mache your car in God in hopes of making people follow you spiritually, it turns most people away from following you even physically. Faith is a personal thing, something that should be respected and believed, not advertised and shouted. It should be available to those who seek it, not vomited upon everyone.
There's too much God in print and speech and too little of it in the head or heart anymore. I'm not saying don't believe in faith a or believe in religion b, I'm saying keep it to yourself and those who ask. May Jesus guide your steps should be said in church as you leave, not said to the bagboy as you get in your car.
On a tangent, blind faith is worse than no faith so be educated. Don't be sheep. The number of Catholics ignorant to what's in the bible is staggering, they're encouraged to follow, be instructed, not read on their own, listen to the lessons given, not seek anything that may be in contradiction to the beliefs preached. God forbid they loose their iron grip of control.
The guy in the bible club is telling them to read The Light and the Glory about religion in the colonies. Religion in the colonies was tyranny; believe of be whipped, killed, beaten, and/or exiled. Nice religion, eh?
People are fucking stupid... so is group prayer!
