I guess I should update this, since I promised myself long ago I wouldn't let it go this long without an update. I've kept it pretty much to once a week at least, but things have just been so... yeah.
Moving is stressful, but just about done. Fighting isn't fun, but most of the fights are pretty inconsequential at this point. Relationship ultimatums suck to have to give, but it's nice when they turn out to be pretty unimportant in the larger scheme of things, too. Revelations not so great, but you take what you can get. Progress is good, but hope can be addictive. Everything should be taken with a grain of salt, and even then, caution is heavily advised. Mood swings ahead. And behind. Normalcy is startlingly pervasive. Life goes on? Wow...
I started cataloging our books today. It's amazing how old some of them are, and the condition they're in regardless. We bought a new bookshelf so we could use the shelves to turn our 5-shelf ones into 7-shelf paperback ones, and discovered today that they changed the construction and the shelves are different sizes now. Hopefully The Home Depot can help us resolve that. The computer room is just about set up, and having matching computer desks still makes me smile goofily. Or is that geekily? Both, perhaps. I love having my fantasy art framed and hung up on the wall - the spotlight kicks ass for the setup - but I still really want to get the Martini Fairy up there, and spread the love around the rest of the room. I'm thinking family/friend pictures in the dining room, and my masks on the stairwell wall.
Tomorrow I go to work again. After the swinging I've been doing all day today, I'm almost morbidly curious how it's going to go, especially with the bus ride home to keep in mind. Meh, it's getting late. Sleep should come soon.
