Christmas Snow (!)
Yes, we got snow on Christmas. Dallas, TX actually had a white Christmas. How cool is that? :-D
Let's see... Wednesday we gathered to do presents and hang out for the evening before Streak and Grainne headed out. Streak's moment of confusion that slowly drifted into a vague look of horror as he realized that we'd made the children's Necronomicon for him was pretty awesome. Grainne also pointed out that my Christmas tree is missing a topper and suggested we make a Cthulu-topper for it next year; Halfwit seemed to throw herself excitedly into the planning stage. *g* I love my friends so very, very much.
Thursday (Christmas Eve) work let us go a bit early, so I picked up a holiday cheer package that included Inglourious Basterds, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and a six-pack of Shiner. It made for a warm and fuzzy evening, as did the white, fluffy stuff falling through most of the afternoon.
Friday (Christmas Day) I went out for coffee (hot chocolate for me!) with a friend and spent some time skating across parking lot ice patches and having scattered snowballs thrown at me. d-: I wandered down to Shiva's for Jeddar's Christmas Day party and joined the crowd for a (surprisingly long) game of Loaded Questions. Good fun, good times. Doesn't help that I won, of course. (-;
Tomorrow is New Year's... time to start figuring out what I want 2010 to hold in store for me. (-:
