Huzzah!
So, let's see, the last few weeks in brief:
Three Queens was fun, if eventful - two flat tires and a trip to the hospital (not for myself) eventful, that is - and I got to meet some new people! One came up for Zombieland this week, and I may be heading down to San Antonio this weekend to attend a different event. (-:
HUGE fight to face, but... I think it may have turned out okay? I guess I'll see as time goes by. Some definite limits to draw along the way, but peace is a good thing to have.
Zombieland is awesome - I haven't laughed out loud at a movie that long in rather a while. Hanging with Davius was pretty fulfilling, too. *g* He brought me books! And borrowed mine! *squees a bit*
I'm pretty solidly set to pass this course. I need to make 15 points, and they shouldn't be too hard to get, with the potential for another 15 points if I do well on the final. *wheeee!* As of last night, I am caught up to the present on my assignments. Tonight I move forward on those 15 points.
Work is shaping up, and yay I have a job tomorrow, though we'll see how that turns out in the long run.
Got in touch with our charity, and I'm excited about the potential to let people actually head out that way. *bounces happily*
Layniek accidentally ruined my budget by linking me to www.sockdreams.com. ZOMG MUST HAVE! So... many... cute... socks! And... sock garters?!?! I've never heard of this thing, but suddenly I crave for the adorability!
Anime night is fun. Uninhabited Planet Survive is cute, and I've been told it'll start developing plot before too long here, theoretically giving it some meat as well. We're sortakinda thinking about bouncing to something else in the middle for a break (52 episodes is a lot to slog through), and Pi recommended Darker Than Black. That's a 26 episode series, so I dunno if we'll get all the way through it, but I'll suggest it. In the meantime, I'm sure we can find a couple of smallish series to add some substance to the cuteness. *g*
Twisted Root Burger is fun - I love the celebrity name order scheme, and the burger was pretty darn awesome. My table included Eva Longoria, Chong, Lil Bow Wow and Jim Adler (the Texas Hammer).
Monday night I had slippery nipples for the first time ever! While the cause for the evening was less than ideal, it was really neet to get a friend out and let her cut loose a bit. Okay, a lot. *g* Oh, yes, it was fun. *smiles fondly*
Last night I actually watched Venture Brothers for the first time. I've seen a few random episodes, I think, but never really gotten a feel for the series. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it as new episodes come out. :-D
Overall, <3 my friends. I absolutely love being at a point where I can find people to cuddle and play and touch with, and appreciate the folks who let me. My tactile side has been very content of late, and it occasionally amazes me how many people I have around me who add color to my life just with who they are and seem to appreciate the color I add to theirs. *hugs to you all*
