WAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

So, ever since Guy got his promotion to exec, we've been looking forward to moving when our lease comes up at the end of next month. Into a 2 bedroom apartment, was the plan. I've been bouncing inside for the last three months,a nd looking at apartmetn complexes online
We had it down to two apartment complexes. There was a bout a hundred dollar difference, but the higher one a) came with a washer and dryer (!!!), b) came with a reserved parking space (will be absolutely essential come the retail holiday season), c) has this neat little split-level plan with a bedroom and den (office/computer room) upstairs and the kitchen/living/dining room (Entertainment set, baby!) downstairs, d) is on the same side of both George Bush Tollway and Dallas Tollway so Guy wouldn't have to drive under both during morning rush hour, and e) is right across the street from a shopping center with both a Borders and a Barnes & Noble. (!!!!!) So we went today to make our final decision. And the other one went out the window, price difference or no.
It's in Plano. Not just Plano, mind you, but in the Willow Bend area. About a minute and a half drive from some of the multi-million dollar houses and some obscenely nice apt/condo complexes and neighborhoods. And a three minute drive to Guy's store, with sidewalks all along an absolutely *gorgeous* bike ride there if he so chose. And the apartment we've got reserved atm has a patio overlooking the little creek they have flowing through the complex. Which looks a lot better in person than in the goofy pictures they have up there.
And... for the first time ever... we passed the credit check with flying colors! In an uber-rich, uber-fancy area with a major stereotype of being extremely snooty and picky. That was the final bit that sent me, at least, into a giddy, bouncy spasm of excitement all the way home.
We're moving next month!
