Momentous Events
Robert Jordan died yesterday. Feels like the ending of an Age, or at least the closing of a chapter in my life, somehow. So many people and ideas I've encountered because of the Wheel of Time books. I do hope and maybe even pray that they get the last book published. Even if they don't, the last decade or so of my life has been an adventure, and a lot of my life's pages have been tied to his books.
And one of those events is that I bought my plane tickets to Sweden. November 13-22. I haven't been out of the country in 13 years at this point - it's about time. :-D And that trip will be another chapter of my life resolved... with a bear hug eight years in the making. Next year I'm going to the Netherlands to finally repay Avi at least one of the visits he's already made this way, too. And I have an associate's degree. Big times, big changes. Life, she does keep going, and I'm enjoying the ride.
