Our library foundation helped sponsor a creative writing seminar that featured Nicholas Sparks today. Quite a few happy students, to say the least. He had a pretty interesting story. Having read none of his books or seen any of the movies, I did appreciate hearing how he came to be a writer.
Afterwords I did a quick interview with local news about our bilingual student program, involving teens working with younger students, which the library is a big part of.
Other than that, not much today. I got some much needed grocery shopping done, but that's about it.
