-Wow! I've not posted in a month. I've had a busy summer.
-Bele Chere was last weekend and we spent all three days seeing an assortment of music. Highlights included: Asheville bands, Yo Momma's Big Fat Booty Band and Afromotive. Blues singer Shemika Copeland was excellent as was Kenny Wayne Sheppard. We also got to see The Everybodyfields for their first Bele Chere appearance.
-I've been riding my bike, doing some small group rides, and some longer solo rides. I took Troutmomma mountain biking in Georgia, and got her some new bruises and scrapes.
-I've been focusing on my thru-hike for 2008, and am still looking at gear and making plans for that.
-We are going to Florida, next week. I'll see my parents and some of my brothers. I'll bring my bike, ride with my youngest brother, and go scalloping. It should be a good time.
