I went to Boston this weekend for some yoga workshops with Robert Boustany.

He was amazing.  His teaching is good, thought not genuinely amazing.  The thing that IS amazing about him is the breadth of knowledge he has about the body and different ways to work specific muscles in order to strengthen the body in an even way (both even along the median lines of the body, and by not leaving any muscle groups out) to build incredible amounts of strength to accomplish fierce poses, and make less fierce (or still fierce) poses easier.

He has a lot of knowledge that I would like to have and would be useful for me, not only for my own practice, but is also knowledge and information that I would like to share with my students.

I'm thinking about perhaps doing his teacher training after Cornell.

My abs and my intercostal muscles are more sore than they have ever before been.  It's pretty amazing and takes a pretty special teacher (and a pretty special student, if I do say so myself) to accomplish that.

Hurrah!  Weekend workshops were an unabashed success.
