[CLOSED TO DEAN & BELA] The second strike
Sam hated the times where they needed another attack to be able to know even where to start on a hunt. It hadn't taken him long to get used to the island in general, so when Dean broke the news a hunt was on their plates, Sam hadn't met it with the same enthusiasm his brother would normally be able to draw from him. So, when Harry had called Dean to reveal the news of the second attack, the whole thing came with a heavy feeling in his gut. But not only that, this time Bela was the victim.
Of all the people on the island, Bela was the second target. There wasn't even any obvious links between her and Elektra besides the plain fact they were both female. Was the creature stalking women only? There was only one way to find out anything and that was to talk to Bela. Unlike Elektra, Bela was awake following the attack. Elektra had regained consciousness in the meantime, but the doctors had said she had no recollection of the attack whatsoever, so she was going to be a useless source of information to Dean and Sam until something (if anything) sparked her memory. That was how the Winchester brothers came to be standing outside Bela's Talbot's hospital room sharing an apprehensive glance between them. It wasn't news she'd screwed them both over in the past. Neither needed to verbalise the fact for them to know they were both wondering how much any information she gave them could even be trusted. Sam took a strategic step behind his brother and nudged Dean into the room ahead of him. Dean was the one who instigated the hunt, afterall.
