[OTA] Adjusting to changes

When Harry heard that resort security had nabbed some couple in the pool doing their thing, he had literally snorted in amusement until he regained his composure and scratched the back of his head as he read the case note from one of his rookies on beat that night. Okay, so technically he had to retain them for indecent exposure because the security guards had made such a song and dance, leading to the rookies to make the arrest. But really, all Harry wanted to do was go to the cells and advise the perps to find a better place well away from the cameras. Yeah, he was a cop, and he ran the CIU on the island, but he was used to coming up against Death Eaters, murderers, or rapists. A couple having a quickie in the pool, he just wanted to snigger more than anything. Probably why he passed the case off to another of his colleagues to deal with the charges and bail. Harry would have just let them off, and he didn't actually want to look like he was undermining the security, even if they weren't cops. It was all about rapport. The island could be a tiny place when it wanted to be.

It was the end of Harry's shift, anyway. Normally he probably would have worked back, and if the couple in the pool had, say, whacked someone with a palm tree post-coital, he probably wouldn't have had a choice but to stay. Instead, he escaped as soon as he could and was already trying to divest himself of his tie as he headed back to the resort. He stopped at the cafe and picked up a takeout frappe and then paused at one of the sunlounges, sinking down onto the end of it and watched the crowd pass as he sipped the drink. He just had to decide if he wanted to stop by Draco's room or just head back to the bungalow and head to bed early. They hadn't arranged their date until the weekend, but that didn't mean they had to halt all contact until then, right? Maybe he would just text him instead. It was better than nothing. Right now, Harry was fine just sitting here and not moving to unwind.
