This was different though. He didn't know if Fox loved the dude, but it had to be pretty damn close, and now she had his life in her hands. She probably didn't want it, but at the same time, he just knew that if the guy's life had to be in anyone's hands, Fox would prefer it to be here, even if she didn't need to like it. At the same time, though, if the soldier was in there suffering, wouldn't it be better to pull the plug anyway? But it wasn't his decision to make. Fox's decision was to keep him hooked up, or not. If she didn't want to, the staff would pull the plug anyway. Wesley had tried to put himself in Fox's position for the last twenty four hours, and as much as he hated to admit it, he would selfishly want to keep the switch on rather than sitting and watching someone he loved die. There was always a chance he might get better later and wake up, right?
He came into the room quietly, not wanting to spook her or disturb the nurse dude asleep in the other bed. He sat down beside her and took her free hand. "Want me to taser him? He might wake up from the zap."
