[After the Cameron/Foreman post, but simultaneous to Faith, House, and Rob's posts]Chase stood in the back corner of the MRI viewing cubicle, silent, but watching Cameron and Foreman perform the procedure on a still comatose Rob. Chase went over to the MRI console and reached between them to turn the screen up to him so he could see better. "Jesus effing Christ," he cursed with a gasp. "And the seizures. House was right. It is bacterial, and he's going to need a surgical drainage. Shit." He rubbed his hand over his mouth, now closely examining the series of images spreading across the screen for any other lesions but before he could catch anything, there was a warning beep from the machines as Rob's heartbeat spiked.

He shared a look with Foreman and started to move quickly to the door. "We gotta get him out of there before he crashes." He pushed through the glass door and went over to hit the button to get the table to slide out. Rob's heart rate was increasing and Chase pressed the backs of his fingers against Rob's cheek to check for any spike in fever. He didn't feel flushed. His eyes were fluttering though and for a moment, it looked like he might wake up. That couldn't possibly be it, though. Not with the symptoms the abscess where it was. Still, Chase squeezed Rob's shoulder. "Rob? Rob, can you hear me?" he coaxed. Nothing. The heart rate was rapid, but had stopped climbing, though nothing else seemed out of the ordinary. Eye fluttering wasn't uncommon in coma patients, but Rob had been completely unresponsive to this point. It almost seemed like he was dreaming, but that was impossible.

He dropped the plastic barrier of the table down to start unhooking the contrast dye IV line when their their pagers started to go off simultaneously. Chase unclipped his and read it, his lips formed a thin line. He shook his head. "Stabilise him, get him back to the ICU. I need to talk to House anyway. Page me if he gets any worse. We need to get this diagnosis or he's dead."
