I don't blame football, I blame my mother. And that stuff about things people can talk of no matter what they belong to, it's also an argument for Reality Shows, so excuse me if I don't buy it :p

About To Say Nothing of the Dog, oh, sorry about it not being quite in the funny-way you like best, I know about the humor which one admits is funny but can not quite touch it.
Sorry ? Why sorry ? I liked it ! It's not the kind of humour that makes me laugh out loudly, that's all I meant. It was very good. Well plotted and well foreshadowed too - maybe too well, because I guessed most of the plot :p
And yes, the cats made me glad. I was horrified that they didn't exist anymore in the XXIth ^^
However, I have a big suspension of disbelief when it comes to people not having tested bringing back objects that were destroyed to he future. That's the first thing they would try to bring back if they discovered Time Travel, I mean, come on !
(okay, I had a huge suspension of disbelief about most things in her time travel metaphysics but that one's the biggest)

Oh, I so want to see your final reaction to that book ;)

The sorry was in case I had recommended it ( could be, not sure) and that influenced you on buying it - but glad you are enjoying it, I love Willis. Is it your first Willis novel?

About football, you got to experience that talk ( and nope reality shows do not even came close), it exists, but it is also related to how unfair and dramatic football can be, which makes it an awful lot like life and one can apply a lot of the same aphorisms to football and life.
