oooh update

Well I must admit my life as a medical student is barely exciting. We have a test on Monday so I'm basically just studying my butt off with as of yet unseen rewards. This weekend was actually pretty chill. Jessy had a retreat with GW so I was spending my time with newfound friends. Friday night I studied a bit and then relaxed with the TV, then headed out to an "apartment-warming" party for one of my lab mates, Lesley. It was awesome, just had a glass of wine and hung out with a bunch of medical students who were surprisingly not so dorky :) Saturday I tried to study but boycotted and watched movies for a good bit of the afternoon. Then I went to Esther's house (she's my new awesome friend) and she made me dinner! I met her husband, had some rockin pad thai and something else korean that I can't pronounce. I didn't shame myself too badly with my chopsticks skills and we just chilled and watched tv and chatted for the evening. Around 10 we went to another party for another one of my labmates, Erin. All in all the parties were cool and I met some people/cemented some acquaintances.
Jessy is coming up tomorrow to hang out and stay the night, just so I can see her. This couple of weeks is just kinda crappy for both of us and it's good we'll have some time together.

I'm actually going to be boring and get ready for bed early. I haven't been sleeping great the last few nights and since I'm feeling tired, I'm going to try to capitalize on it.

PS congrats Ryan and Adam ;) Jessy's and my 7month was September 4th. After a rocky patch, I couldn't be happier :-*
