One of my friends, who is also close friends with one of my best RL friends (whom I love dearly), is female-to-male transgendered. He has his top surgery scheduled for the end of the year because the doctor he wants to perform the operation is retiring next year, and those were the only slots available.
Right now, he's trying to raise money for it - from his job, from art commissions, by asking the internet for help, etc, etc, so I'm helping him signal boost.
