I love this to pieces. The relationship between the Holmes siblings is perfect and I like the way you show how excited she is to dress up as Sherlock and explore the world.
I've not read part 2 yet (off to do it now) but I just wanted to say that I love this and it made me cry because this is so damn close to what I'm going through right now ("She's probably not even, not really, because she pretty clearly prefers men (not that she hasn't considered women, but she just isn't as interested), and why would she want to be gay and a freak if she could just be heterosexual and normal?" - this is totally me) So, yeah. Just wanted to say thank you. I don't know why it helps to see a fictional person experiencing my struggles but it really does.
Hi I'm a random stranger offering hugs if you want them. I struggled with the question of whether or not to transition for many years and for me ultimately decided not to; my partner chose to transition. We've been together 14 years and he's been living as a man for 11. For many of us, *it gets easier over time*.
To the author: hugs to you too. And thank you - it's rare to see trans and genderqueer characters in fic, even more rare for the author to *get it right*. I always get nervous when I see ftm characters in fanfic, b/c so many writers get it wrong. You didn't. And like all the writing of yours I've seen so far, your writing is brilliant and your characters are perfect.
Thanks for the great fic, and thanks to Mycroft for finally accepting. ;D I really appreciated, that in this fic, Sherlock doesn't need John to feel good about who he is.
Hello. I'm a heterosexual married woman with three kids, coming here out of a rec by moony about some good fic. The "FtM" was something I missed (lol
