The Lamb and the Lion
Yesterday was fantastic. Gorgeous weather, I got a compliment from someone I didn't think was capable of such a thing, I think I am becoming better friends with a girl in my program so I will have real friends down here (that I didn't follow from Albion). Today was also a great day because I went to two great seminars and learned that you should not use Dial antibacterial soap and Claritin because it is environmentally irresponsible to do so (one of the ingredients is an inhibitor for very important enzyme in your liver and many other organisms), and if you are diabetic or have hypertension you should use Colgate Total toothpaste. I also learned that Vioxx works by clotting your blood and pain killers work by thinning it so you should not use them in conjunction. Very neat stuff and it is cool to learn how these things work.
Today was the beginning of the cold weather and we even had a few flurries this morning but nothing like you midwesterners. I think that is my hint to stay inside and work on all of the things I have to get done before the end of the semester. Almost done though and believe me, I am counting down the days until I get to go home for Christmas and away from my roommate.
