Hey, there is a band concert tonight at GCC. Classical music is the best to listen to while stoned. It takes you on a journey. Not even the band journey does that. I was also given the thumbs up on the rollero gig that is booked for tonight at midnight. I kind of have a feeling it may not happen though. Having to rely on my delinquent friends never boosts my confidence.
There is a new updated news letter on the tool site that gives a little info on the progress of the new album. I guess they spent a long time making a "decoy record" to throw to the waste side and called it the main project incase people would try to bootleg the new material. Weirdos. Blair also talks about how every tube in ever amp, drum heads, guitar strings, etc, are all replaced brand new for every session. How tedious. And how they all put the session on hold waiting for some recording software that would help eliminate some white noise that would never even be heard with all the instruments going. It's said to be Sgt. Peppers.. meets Dark Side of the Moon. Now that wets my appetite.
