Back to school
So i'm back. Summer was good. Very short, but good. I'm now officially a music major. It only took three years to come around, but i'm in no hurry. Never really have been. Plus i have 18 credits worth of general studies in the bank, so all i have to focus on is music music music. Vacation was great. Got some well needed perspective. I'm also giving some serious consideraton to moving to Seattle and transfering to one of their schools when i'm done at GCC. I also spent quite a few dollars on studio time at the Grey Room studio. I recorded three songs with more to come. Just need to fork out the money. Ben, the engineer goes to gcc too. I'm sure to see him around. He's really cool and by far the best sound guy i've worked with in a studio. Him and the main guy(can't remeber name)that teaches the studio recording class at gcc really like my songs. I also have a hard time convincing people that i'm playing everything you're hearing. I guess that's a good thing. Life without a computer is oddly liberating. I never realized how much we depend on them these days and how fucked we are when they crash on us. I saw the mars volta twice. Once in June and once when they opened for system of a down. God damn they're good. But system of a down suprisingly stole the show. Still single. Still too timid and hesitant to do anything about it. I'll just be patient until something nice comes my way i guess. I'm done letting rejection from women consume me. Anyways, gotta run and i don't have time to edit all my type ohs. BY BUY!
