Da Bod: an Update

Well hello. Just giving an update on how I am progressing with my physical self. It's been about 9 weeks since I kicked my ass to get the body more toned and fit. So far, it's been going alright, but could be so much better. I have 6 weeks until the intensive in Chicago, and 9 weeks until school starts. My workouts have been kick ass, but the diet is still going down the shitter. I am at a weight plateau of around 128 lbs, and I hope to eventually get to 120 (I am 5'7). I HATE restricting myself, it just causes me to eat more. So I have been cutting down on buying carbs and buying more protiens. I eliminate sugars whenever possible, and try to drink a lot of water. Honestly, I don't know what I weigh anymore since I eat a lot of protien and fiber, which stays in your system longer *sighs*. My measurements have been shrinking, with my waist dropping just below 26 inches, and my hips just under 36. I just need to buckle down and get this diet working for myself. I will allow myself one free day, but I need to drop the daily caloric intake to 1600 a day. I think I will start doing 1 hr cardio and swim 30 min 5 days a week. I just have to make sure I stretch a lot afterwards. I start the pilates and cardio classes next week as well. I have been having fewer set backs, but I just want to strive for more consistency.
