I've just thrown up for the third time today. It seems that dry, non-productive cough has found company in post-nasal drip, and the repeated spasms of my abdominal wall upset my stomach so that anything I eat is pushed back up the next time I have a coughing fit.
You know what the worst thing is, though? I'm not remotely nauseated *knock on wood*. Vomiting doesn't make me feel any better. I'm hungry. I'm really, really hungry.
Never fear--aside from the coughing, vomiting, and fatigue (and the fact that I'm teaching a class tomorrow and going to fail an exam on Monday), I'm really doing quite well. Apologies for all the whiny hypochondriac posts, but I think this is quickly shaping up to be one of the most unlucky weeks of my life. I think it merits at least a few posts for posterity, or at least forgiveness for the gen. ref. usage in the previous sentence.
P.S. Not only do my sleeping pills NOT give me retrograde amnesia, but they are also not making me fall asleep. I wake up two hours later. Coughing. And wide awake. And I can remember everything. It's really quite unfortunate.
